Possible: A converted Highground map.

Impossible but I wish: A smaller Highground map with beach and wall/gate, with the walls being destroyed by damage equivelant to 15 rockets. 6 walls in all+gatehouse w/gate. Gate can be opened and closed at will for weapons/camo/overshields on the outside at moments of reprieval...tests the groups strength to hold out and to over achieve when the walls fall down (Standing behind them and using them for cover, permitted space.)

not impossible at all, they would just take the map file of highground and add every thing needed for firefight on the ODST version

Turf! Or a turf remake for multiplayer haha. I liked that map.... But how about a room like the crypt in Sandbox. That would be intense as well...

Sounds good, would work out good, and I would imagine the spawn room right behind the mini-parking lot? Or in that same exact useless room behind the AA gun?

some how I don't see turf working very well in firefight, that map is probably far to small, but I hope to hell it appears in Reach

That little dilapidated bunker (Not the Spartan laser wall one) Halfway behind the wall to the AA guns, Just for space and to use cover when the walls come crumbling down, and if you want to funnel enemies down the gate.

Companies like Blizzard wait very long on setting a release date. For example, with Starcraft 2, which is expected later this year, they don't have a solid release date for it because they want the game to be the best it can be. In Halo the quality of some of the cut scenes is absolutely terrible in my opinion, and there is also the fact that when the Halo games comes out, Bungie says the game is perfect, yet in later interviews they nearly always take that back.

You have a good point. Bungie does seem to that XD

I just support the notion they put the effort into their games, create an entertaining experience, and complete the game without any game-breaking issues. What you say about Blizzard makes it absolute, but I'm thing the completion of a game isn't judged by what the developer cuts on purpose.

How much that is, I don't know, less than what wasn't done otherwise. But I see what you're getting at.

Who else thinks the part before having to face the scarab in H2 would be ace. Where they have a little hold out and there are the briges and side roads. I think that would be interesting.

I don't like talking about DLC before game arrives. Supports lazyness for extra profits. I'd like to see these kinds of maps:
1. Security Zone - Damnationesque map (Diagonal)
2. Crater - Wizardesque map (Bowl)
3. Blood Gulchesque map (Wide and huge)
4. Avalanche esque map (Shoehorse)
5. Prisoneresque map (Vertical)
6. Longestesque map (Narrow and small)
7. Ratraceesque map (Circling tunnels)
8. Lockoutesque map (Lots of platforms)
9. Backwashesque map (Bowl with strong point in the middle)
10. Headlong (Huge and complex)
11. Turf (Small and complex)
12. Last Resort (Base vs invaders)
+13. Terminal (Parking lot, metro station... SWAT gaming)
+14. Rat's Nest (2 fronts to fight against)
+15. The Pit (Aargh the Brute and Jackal boards come alive!)
in the retail version. If some of those aren't, I hope to see them later.

But 1 map from each level. As a tribute because this is retry of the trilogy ender.
1. Pillar of Autumn canteen
2. Halo first marine area or the entire last green valley after the tunnel
3. Truth and Reconciliation hangar with all the floors
4. Silent Cartographer first underground hall or the entire island with enemies coming everywhere
5. Assault on the Control room last tower and field area

7. Library with 1 of the locked sections
8. Two Betrayals 1 of those core rooms

1. Cairo - hangar
2. Outskirts - first alley area

6. Delta - the ruins you arrive at with scorpion

I would really love to see the level the the ark were the scareb comes to kill you ( the sloppy bit were you get 3 tanks ) its perfect for phantom dropoffs and put some towers in and mahbe a tiny bit of a base ( basicly something to hold out in if ur over run, nothing too easy to defend but not impossible to defend either ) then it would be fantastic
