Now Theater and forge will mostlikely return, improved, but what about firefight from ODST? Almost everyone seems to think firefight is a great idea, so it would only be natural to include it. They would probably do what gears did and make ever multiplayer map in Reach compatible with firefight mode, atleast I hope they would, they better not go the -blam!- zombie rout, lol.
What do you guys think?

Yes, but with more options.

Ex: Unlimited lives
All skulls available
Players have individual lives pool
Enemy frequency (which species appears how often)

Some of these (like enemy frequency) would make that game not add to your leaderboard status, but you should still be able to play against all Grunts. Or maybe all Spec Ops Elites. Or all Hunters. And Flood. And Sentinels.

and maybe they could even add a forging option for firefight, like you can pick spawns for specific enimies like honor guard elites and Brute chieftans, or places for sniper jackels and such

Someone pointed out quite awhile ago that in an interview update on the Bungieblog, the interviewee referred to ODST's included Firefight as a "prototype" feature, which would beg the existence of a more refined feature in future Halo titles.
