If you are to kill a group of brute then leave the area, will a new group of brutes replace them if you were to venture back to the area or are there limited adversaries?

I think unlimited, and I think they only respawn after you go a certain distance.

I meant in campaign in my post btw.

In Campaign, I'm pretty sure it'll be unlimited, only repawning when you get far enough away. In Firefight, there's only a limited amount of Covenant per Set, obviously.

1.Arkham Asylum, 2.Mass Effect, 3.Halo CE, 4.Mass Effect 2, 5.Halo 2, 6.Splinter Cell Double Agent, 7.Gears of War 2, 8.Medievil, 9.Oblivion, 10.Crash Team Racing

Hope it's realistic ie. the new ones aren't simply a clones of the previous ones standing at same exact place with same exact gear and formation with the same AI personality.

You can hardly expect them to have 10 different unique encounters per spawn point...
Hope it's realistic ie. the new ones are similar to the previous ones, so Bungie doesn't spend a year working on them.

I would expect another drop ship to drop off more Brute Stalkers to patrol the area where the older Brutes were killed.
