Subject: Halo Reach's Armor Options?

I play for the funzies. I salute anybody who goes by the BUNGLE code. I believe in Sasquatch, Buddha, Santa, & the fact that marijuana cures racism. I AM CANADIAN. I am...The Skookumchuk

The only armour I could hope for is Arbiter armour for Elites.

Or supra special SASQUATCH/PLATYPUS/MY DOG ARMOUR ZOMGZ!!!!!!!!!!

DLC armour is impossible, or at least highly unlikely. Everybody who plays the game will need to download the armour to be able to see it. That stops Bungie from charging for it.

Not necessarily, they could always add the armor through an update so everyone could see it, but you'd have to actually pay for the DLC to unlock it on your game. Racing games add new cars all the time and it doesn't cause problems for players without the DLC.

Herping your derp.

Shame we can't have black, it'd look better on a whole lotta levels.

Anyway, DLC armor would be hella fun, that is, if it came by DLC maps, not just a pack of armor that has maybe two or three pieces.

I agree with emblems. As well, since the Spartans are a part of the Marines, we should choose Military-related emblems. Globe and Sword for example.

Agreed with colors. Most of the colors were rather boring in Halo 3, a darker shade would be need for the 'charcoal' color. Camo perhaps?

Disagree with characters. We're probably going to be Spartans anyway, and why not have the ODST helmet included?

IM A LEGIT 16

No Brutes, they would have to be completely resized.
No ODSTs or Marines, they would have to be completely resized.
No DLC armour, to hard to make and would probably be glitchy.

I'd like to see customisable Visors, including colour.
Gloves, boots, shins, forearms.
Full Halo 3 sets i.e ODST, Rogue

"Take a look around. Ask yourself if there's anyone else who is better qualified to do the job. Not in the entire galaxy, but right there, at that point in time. If the answer is 'yes', ask them to accept command, and do everything you can to support them. If the answer is 'no', which it will be ninety-nine percent of the time, then take your best shot. That's all any of us can do."

im currently reading the halo book series, and im learning alot about the history in the story line. my guess is that MC would be found and he'd help save earth again, and maybe some old spartans would come up.

but id like to see some new weapons and tech. some like a satchel bomb or sattelite laser. ok well maybe the sat. laser is too much but its just an idea.

I haven't seen the official argument against black, but considering forced colors in team games, it'd only be "unbalanced" in FFA settings. I can see how it would be there, though. They could do with "darker" shades though; if Red is given as the RGB of 255.0.0, a color like 128.0.0 ("Dark Red") would be nice, and likewise for each other shade, without being as unbalanced as black.

Given the paint customization you can see in a game like Armored Core 4 (camo patterns, individual part detailing, etc.), I haven't really ever understood why the paint options were so limited except perhaps latency issues, and again given the biggest playlists tend to have forced color, that shouldn't be a major issue.

More paint options and more armor permutations would be a plus in any event.

Nihilism (from the Latin nihil, nothing) is a philosophical position that argues that existence is without objective meaning, purpose, or intrinsic value.

Put simply in the words of Nietzsche as "the will to nothingness".

Maybe have black only allowed on your secondary, detail and emblem not as the primary colour. Visors reflect their surroundings in real time and armor is damaged realisticly. Seeing a sniper round go clean through a spartan's head would be much more satisfying if the visor cracks, etc.
