Chunky_Lover's Average Joe Interview

Bungie All Star Contest Winner Weeks 6,8 and 12

We should all know by now that Halo 3 ODST is an "open world" game.

One thing however, would there be an issue if in Four Player Co-Op, three seperate players decide to go on their own and one of them decides to do lets say the "ONI Bridge Mission" as Dutch, the other two decide to do Romeo's flashback mission and the last one does Buck's.

Could this possibly be an issue with all players wanting to do a different flashback at the same time? Or will there be some form of slight order that the missions need to be unlocked or earned?

host = rookie. host is main character so i guess its his decision.

I think one person is designated the "real" Rookie and gets to choose what mission to do. The rest are there for fire support. But hey, thats just a logical solution that I think might happen.

I didn't think there was co-op on this. If that did happen then all I'm thinking is that the players will be missing out on the expeirience of being a lone ODST trying to survive and find out what happened to his squad. Also mabey they'll all go to whichever was clicked first.

Is this true? Because I remember in Halo 3 you could be Party Leader and you would sometimes not play as the Master Chief in Co-op Campaign. Seems logical though.

i doubt that the game was so poorly thought out that Bungie didnt think of this problem initially. im sure that if youre playing co-op, you all have to do the same mission at the same time.

I don't maybe it could possibly be a good thing? Split up into two squads to get things done faster, you know?

and how!

You could split up, but chance are if you are playing a Co-Op game it is either with a friend or someone who asked for your help [or you asked for help].

Being so, you should be able to have fairly good communication between each other.

And if one person initiates a flashback mission everyone will go with him. We don't know if anyone can initiate one though, my guess is it will be the job of the Host.

" Truth? You will Never know Truth!"

"My tears cannot cover the blood that has been spill."

"I lead my troops into battle. With strong morale and man power, we will overcome the invaders!"

Maybe if one of you is close enough to the flashback you both go ( As in you play that level by yourself or with someone near you while the other players pick their flash back), but hey I didn't play the game yet. Lol
