Wielding a double-bladed chainsaw, wearing a potato sack on your head and spinning around mindlessly is amiably quick at getting anything done

...the flood will be in ODST?

Not campaign due to obvious reasons, but in Firefight with a flood only set altenating between covenant and flood sets.

We all know Bungie is very, very crafty so it wouldn't surprise me if the flood do end up in ODST in some way.

and how!

No. There will be no Flood presence in ODST whatsoever. Firefight included.

People like you piss me off.

Relax man, This is what it was like for Halo 2 and Halo 3, lots of repeat topics and such.

I just move along and ignore, usually pay attention to the important topics.

You might as well call Recon armor a Fancy Fedora, because that's all it is really.

origional creator of 0000000

I have a feeling the flood will not be appearing in this game...but hey, for firefight, you never know...

The flood is still out there after Halo 3. They're on the other rings still untouched.

The flood in Halo 1 were killed when the first halo blew up.

The flood in Halo 2 and 3 were killed when the ark blew up.

This is Bungie after all. know it's impossible for them to appear in campaign but firefight is still open.

Maybe one of the things they haven't told us yet :P

Besides the flood in Halo 3 are a cakewalk (Even on legendary) so I never really understood what people complained about.

that would be awsome! They would come and infect dead bodys! there would be a problem with that though, the ODST's dont have energy sheilds, so they are vulnerable to flood infection forms so it would be very difficult to play against them.

Doesn't have to be. Firefight is non-canon so they can just slowly take down your health or something. Or "pop" on you and take a little health/stamina off you.

Or just send in combat and pure forms.

Favorite video game series: Professor Layton or Half-Life
Favorite video game: Super Mario Galaxy
Favorite movie series: Pixar (It's not really a series, but I just can't pick.)
Favorite movie: Inception

Look, the Flood are NOT good enemies, and I doubt Bungie would fix that, they're boring, repetitive and the Pure Forms should be crucified.

Maybe if they made a Flood only level based off Halo: CE's 343 Guilty Spark, then they could be awesome again.

If they made a flood only level, don't you think that would get boring even faster?

If they add them in every once in a while between sets it helps keep you on your toes when you expect covenant to come at you.
