If you plan on using ODST for Halo 3's multiplayer, you might not have realized it yet, but you're going to need to upload any files you want to your File Share before using ODST. The files (very likely) will not automatically transfer, so be prepared to upload anything you want before the release.

Yeah, it's obvious, but it's just a quick heads-up for those who didn't think about it until now.

EDIT: Oh, I didn't think about the fact that files save onto your hard drive, not your disc. Fail.

Or you can re-download stuff. But that's more time-consuming.

There are two things on this forum that piss me off;
Idiots and group invites.
What's even worse, is that I can never seem to get away from either of them ¬_¬
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I would have been your daddy, but the dog beat me over the fence."

Why would that be? If the files are located on your hard drive, then the ODST drive will detect them and pick them up just like the Halo 3 disk would. ODSt will use the same format as Halo 3, so there should be no need to transfer anything to fileshare.

Dude I don't care and my grammer is perfect.I used "Big", as you recall it to mak is specific."to not do...",is incorrect beause "do" is present tense/perfect(or future) when it was a past tense.

No. Files save to your hard drive.

its gonna be able to see what achievements you have, meaning it will be accessing your hardrive....meaning it will be able to use your saved files.

Actually, it makes plenty of sense that you would have the same stuff on the Halo 3 MM disc as you had on the Halo 3 disc.
It's essentially the exact same game, save the campaign mode. You're loading from the same servers and from the same hard drive, so it makes perfect sense that nothing would change. If you changed hard drives, yes your content would be gone from your archive of goodies, but even your fileshare would remain untouched. I know this because I had to buy a new Xbox and transferring my account left my content amiss, but my fileshare just like it was.
