Subject: ODST new tactics

Ok, so we know that their are obviously new weapons and the VISR mode, but are their any new styles of play? Sure, if you played HALO 3 alot you may have noticed the slight stealth system on that, is you crouch behind an enemy, they won't find you. But, will they make a better one on ODST? Or will their be different paths and ways of completing levels? Most likely because it is a "near-open" world style of gameplay. Really for ODST to be likeODST surely they need a cover system, more agility and loads more stealth. IF you have any comments or would just like to call me an ass... post here.

Who burnt the bacon?

No cover system. It would make it too much like GoW. Agility? No. They are Marines, not super-humans like Spartans. I do agree with more stealth though.

You're right on the more agility, that's one thing I've felt this series has always lacked. I have full trust in bungie, an that they will bring something new to the table.

"Anyone can give up it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's the true strength."

Guerilla tactics. You can crouch up to an enemy, fire your silenced smg, and then move out to another street. Of course, the enemy can't be a brute seeing as it takes forever to kill one.
Anyways the game is open-world meaning you can complete the flashbacks in any order (there may be exceptions to some especially Dare or Buck). I'm not into GoW styled cover system, because if you know halo, you can make your own cover system. Meaning you can what i call 'wall-hide' show half of your screen a wall and half the enemy. ;)

Yeah good ideas guys, good point especialy on the cover system, thinking about it, HALO has always been one of thoise games where, it doesnt give you cover or tactics like GoW or CoD, you have to make everything your own.

Get in the flask!

hmmm true that we need stealth but yeah agreeing with others when i say no covering or sprinting.... i would also hope that there is more than one way through the city( eg rooftops or buildings) cos the streets will get a lil boaring unless there is a DOG IN HALO... awwwww lol
back on subject i still wouldnt mind it if you where out in the open without stealth it makes it more of a challenge to evade every one.
