Subject: I really hope Bungie doesn't listen to it's fanbase....

i agree with what your saying but they should listen to some of what we have to say. like they need to fix the stupid things that make halo not fun. like for instance the forage controls need to be changed. they need to put more armor in reach, they need to go back to halo 2 beatdowns, and things like that.

I sure hope halo reach isnt, somthing like "Call of duty: Halo edition, or "Halo: Spartans of war". That would just mess everything up.

And we already have a covering system. Its called crouch.

I agree. No:
-sprinting
-knife
-class based multiplayer
-prone
-cover system
-aim down sights
-weapon customization

One thing Bungie needs to do though is don't appeal to the casual audience as much. Remove some auto-aim and melee lunge and increase the range on all weapons. Keep all the custom game option so the casual players still have fun. I like customs a lot too but when playing matchmaking I want to have a more competitive experience.

and how!

Bungie has been a great company for long enough to know what the FanS want and not what just the Fan wants.

There are two things on this forum that piss me off;
Idiots and group invites.
What's even worse, is that I can never seem to get away from either of them ¬_¬
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I would have been your daddy, but the dog beat me over the fence."

Ideas like these are extremely problematic.

There used to be a day where Bungie would listen to their fanbase very closely and take in many ideas. However, as these stupid idea started poppng up, Bungie stopped listening because they knew there was no point.
However, among the crap, a few good ideas appear now and then but are largely ignored because of all the crap that's flooding forums and overwhlming the good ideas.

Its sad, it really is. Without these stupid ideas, Halo could have become a much better game.

I think the stupid ideas makes halo halo.

Most of the ideas here at weird. I agree with that, but some ideas could be useful... a sprinting system sounds decent, but I disagree with the cover system. I find it much easier to hide myself..

I think the best idea that could be impleemented are carriable fusion coils... I can't find the thread, but thats my favorite Reach idea.

R.I.P Michael Jackson

We tip our hats, to the King of Pop.

Spartans ALREADY sprint, your're too fast to notice it.

P.S = If you're looking for a games that has cover system, sprinting, weapon class, go play a game call Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

A cover system would be really good and original if done properly. Think, how many FPS games have a cover system that actually WORKS? If gameplay doesn't evolve this time around, it's better off ignored. There are many FPS games out there now with tons of new gameplay features than Halo. Halo 2 was revolutionary, it had some of the best graphics of it's time, vehicle hijacking, dual wielding along with many more features.

We have a cover system its called peaking around corners and crouching behind stuff. Besides Halo is too fast paced for cover.

I always thought of Halo as a medium paced game, enough for a cover system. Simply crouching behind objects doesn't add to the immersive feel, in fact makes you feel like you aren't human when you actually are. Sure, Master Chief has enhanced strength and speed, and has armour that weighs a ton and can take loads of damage but he's still very much human.
