Subject: Back to Halo 2- Type Campaign?

While reading the famous prequel to Halo, Halo: Fall of Reach, I realized that I was put into almost every characters perspective of life. Maybe, like Halo 2, when you went back and forth from Master Chief to Arbiter, you will get to see the First-person-perspective of Yapyap, Zomelle (? The super hardcore black elite), Master Chief, Dr. Hasley, Captain Keyes, and the pilots on his ship. Maybe even the Hunters? Now before you say "You're stupid" or "bad idea" think, all of the Halo's have been focused on one or two characters, and by now, bungie has realized we are tired of that. So this is actually quite possible to be how the campaign is played through. We will get to see different perspectives and explore wider areas ranging from covenant to human. This seems very possible to be how the games campaign plot will be put out.

What about the inbred house potatoes?!

.

Do you realize how confusing and disjointed this would make the game feel?

The book didn't seem to confusing with this plot. I would personally like to be a Hunter for a misson, or the little grunt Yapyap.

A book is much different. Things can be much more easily explained in a book.

Very true indeed, but you never know, Bungie has ways of making everything work out. Wouldn't you want to fight the Master Chief, instead of being him for once? See how it feels on the smaller side?

If you were to fight the Master Chief, you would have to die, how would that work?

All games arent about winning :P. Dying at the hands of MC would be pretty cool to watch though. See how the AI was set up to move perfectly.

But seriously, it'd be too confusing, and not fun. At all. I'd much rather play as one or two characters than 230573205730572903579327963276930720967276920795320907. Just seems like more fun.

The maximum you'd be is 5, it wouldn't be that hard to keep track. Unraveling a mystery is more fun that knowing the answer beforehand.

I love the entire Halo series, Halo 2 being my favorite of the games. I think that the universe is compelling and the story is deep, sweeping, and powerful. The hidden layers in the Halo trilogy and rich details of the backstory in the novels are something I love to be lost in, and im greatly looking forward to the story that Halo: Reach will weave. Bungie has carefully and lovingly crafted a mythic tale that will stay etched in my mind until the end.

i loved Halo 2's story. I would also love to see something like that again. Somehow, a bunch of people complained to Bungie and said that Halo 2's story was too confusing(what the hell?) which discouraged Bungie from telling the story from two point of views in Halo 3. Well only people who lack intelligence could not understand Halo 2, and i think Reach should do the same as Halo 2 did. Its interesting, it adds depth, and it makes for a better story.

Do not waste your tears, I was not born to watch the world grow dim. Life is not measured in years, but by the deeds of men.

We should know better, because we are better.

A good number of characters is maybe 3-4.

Oh yeah It's Rayzed.

A covenant campaign could feature Spartans as the Hunter equivalent. I wouldn't mind fighting a few battle hardened warriors in place of some worms.
