Ever since I beat Halo 2, I wanted to be able to play as normal Covenant soldiers (well... not so much the Grunts, being cannon fodder sucks), but be Jackals, Elites, Brutes, or Hunters.

Imagine that. Why would you play as the humans? You LOSE. That's like making a WWII game and playing as the Germans or Japanese. It still doesn't change the "prequel" idea because it will be on Reach and we do know how it ends.

You could play as different portions of the Covenant. Jackal sniper team, Grunt squad commander (so you are less likely to die, being that you are a combat hardened veteran), Elite special forces (those black suited Elites) told to find the Forerunner technology and eventually run into the surviving Spartans under CASTLE, and those Hunters that chase Kelly and Fred into CASTLE (both before and after).

As for the Spartans in the banner, those are the "boss" like characters. Those are Spartans that you will run into and will have to overpower, be it with wit (Jackal and Elite campaign) or overwhelming power (Grunts and Hunter).

I would like a covenant dominated campaign purely considering Reach gets merked hardcore but then yet again the story of Spartan II's have to be told. >_>

Two movies you should watch: Fight Club and Pineapple Express

"Wait. What do you mean, it's dead?"
"If marijuana is not legal within the next five years I have no faith left in humanity, period. Everyone likes smoking weed. They have for thousands of years. They're not going to stop anytime soon. You know? It makes everything better. Makes food taste better, makes music better. It makes sex feel better for God's sake. It makes -blam!- movies better you know?"

Seriously, when did people start using the word merk? I've only first heard it two days ago. OT, I wouldn't mind seeing a mix like they did in Halo 2 but I doubt it will happen because the covenant is completely the enemy and not caught up in a civil war.
