ialways say ma-jawl-neer. is that right? and the j is sorta said like your french or something heh. i dunno. anyone want to help? i need to know for a project im working on and i searched on the net lookin up norse mythlogoy and thor etc but no look

i dont think thats how its said. I wouldnt trust weasle, his sig sound kinda unintelligent. (sry). Plus he joined yesterday. I always say Ma-lauge-neer. Wich is wrong. But i like the way it sounds. But its probally pronounced moole-neer with a silent j. I'll go look online for it. Im probally wrong.

It's a danish word and only danes can pronounce it correct. No Just kidding... Like regulus said it's the name of Thor's hammer (from the scandinavian viking mythology). Thor rides in his wagon driven by two imortal goats and then he throws his hammer and it gives lightning and the feet of the goats gives thunder...

In danish it's actually spelled Mjølnir with an ø and it can't be explained. The closest you get is what Regulus said

i always thort it was (hard j) Mole-ja-nir <thats coz my mum used to live in Denmark n could speak it fluently still, and she saw the word> but thats just what i think!

it is pronounce mjolnir eccept the j has a Y sound the amor is named after the god thors majical hammer Mjööllnir . hope i cleared up some stuff. ah crap i shoulda finished reading the thread know i feel like a d#$k!!!
