Alright It is very obvious that there will NEVER be forge for Fire Fight so I figured I would start this thread.
Post any ideas for a map that you have for Fire Fight and given that if this post is pinned then Bungie will have a good place took look for ideas from the community, Bungie listens to their community when its organized and has Good ideas and Good things to say.
My Idea for a Fire fight Map: Bridges Galore
The map takes place on a little bit longer bridge than what we saw in the demo videos, Players spawn on the middle of the bridge and can see phantoms dropping off covenant troops on both sides of the bridge. On the left and right side of the bridge there are smaller bridges that were used for smaller transportation vehicles. the right bridge and left bridge have explosives on them except the right bridge can only be detonated at the far front end on the left side, while the left bridge can only be detonated at the far back of the bridge on the right.
If you choose to blow the two bridges up the phantoms will start dropping Wraiths in the now dipped middle part of the bridge and the phantoms will drop covenant troops closer to you because of the 2 bridges being destroyed. In the far front side of the bridge is a store house for Traxis, this building has an abundance of weapons and machine gun turrets but the sides of the buildings are all made of glass making you easier to hit by phantoms and Jackal snipers. you will have to use the destroyable crates and pillars as cover.
In the far back side of the map there is a parking garage that was used for storing UNSC vehicles, the garage is one story high but it also goes 2 levels underground so you won't have to worry about Phantom or Banshee fuel rod explosions. Unfortuanately most of the gauss warthogs are on the roofs because they were being prepped to take out, or slow down, the Scarab that master chief destroyed.
the main entrance to the garage is right next to a lobby area but if you go behind what looks to be the average dealership lobby you will find a war room with clocks saying different times and are labeled with citys of the world. There is also extra ammo on the tables.
The first level of the garage is reminicent of foundry and has broken down warthogs with working machine gun turrets.The second level is like orbital except more symetrically squared and no longer gives access to vehicles because of a number 5 shaped hallway that is the diameter of the rocket hallway on The Pit and has two machine guns turrets a few feet away from the exit. there are two machine gun turrets aiming into if you continue to go straight from the entrance of the second level you will find the security detail office, in this room you can activate 6 blast doors from the pedestrian walkway entrance of the garage then to the Vehicle Entrance, then the level one entrance, then level two entrance. Back in the war room there is a picture of earth in a grid, this is the secon to last door, going through the war room doesn't have a pit stop at any other level except the last so at the exit from the long stairwell is another blast door.
Of course all of the doors would have to be destroyable.
