From what I've seen it doesn't even look like its silenced at all...it still alerts all the enemies around you.

So basically its still the "Gold old un-surpressed SMG" but with a scope lol

Probably not, why would you want it when you've got a silenced one.

Eat raw meat.
Punch a bear in the face.

If you don't know who I am, the feeling is mutual.

Probably not. Remember in Halo 3, you only get SMGs on Crow's Nest. (I'd have loved to find another one.) SMGs are usually used by Spartans, defending bases/ spaceships from the Covenant, and ODSTs.

It's rare. In Crows Nest you see a SMG in every room, and holded by almost everyone.

Death to rank junkies.

I'm thinking it will be replaced by the supressed one with the sight, just like the Brute Plasma Rifle is rumored to completly replace the Elite Plasma Rifle.

To be fair, do you think that if you're standing next to someone and all of a sudden they drop from gunshots, are you gonna just sit there? Even if a gun is silenced it still gives off some sound, especially automatic weapons.

Why? The new one is everything the old one was and much more. No need for it.

Over the Rock, Through the bush, nothing but Jackal. Plasma Grenade, Jackal. Jackal, 'Nade. Blue Fire, then lights out. Bye Bye, Snipes.

And that is why the proper term is "Suppressed" and not "Silenced." If you say Silenced, then you imply that it makes no sound at all. If you say Suppressed, then there can still be a little bit of noise.
