Duracell.
I don't keep going and going and going and...
but i Start, and just don't Stop.

So what if the saxophone is black?
it has better tone the the gold one.
damn straight i play Jazz.

I'm sick of these "there's no flood in ODST so it will be rated T because the flood is the only reason it's rated M" threads. it will be rated M.

couple of reasons. If you want to skip most of this post please read reason #3 at the end

1. the other Halo shooters are rated M this alone suggests an 'M' rating

2. Definition of a "teen" rated game:
TEEN
Titles rated T (Teen) have content that may be suitable for ages 13 and older. Titles in this category may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language.

(Please note the May contain violence, and the INFREQUENT use of strong language)

Definition of a "mature" rated game:
MATURE
Titles rated M (Mature) have content that may be suitable for persons ages 17 and older. Titles in this category contain intense violence, blood and gore, -blam!- content and/or strong language.

(Please note the CONTAIN intense violence BLOOD and STRONG LANGUAGE)

Even though you may feel that the language in Halo is sparse it is considered to be a fair amount in a rating system(a single "F"-bomb in a movie rates it "R")

Some people feel that Halo was rated "M" only because of the Flood. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. Halo was rated "M" because it had repeated use of strong language, blood (games get rated "M" now for less and less blood as time goes on) and the fact it is constant non-stop violence.

3. This is the most important one:

-Look at the Bungie Project Page for ODST. Right under neath the trailer it says it's rated "M"
-In the new trailer it says it's rated "M"
-All over the promotional material it says it is rated "M"

Final words: ODST WILL BE RATED MATURE. IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED

or you could watch the trailer and see it saw "m" at the beginning...

I was once on Bungie Faves. (Feb.7-15)
I'd like to know why I can't see the signatures of others of myself on the forum. I have made favs once, 7777 campaign kills, and I helped bring modders down when they were at their strongest

We've known about this for a while. Even though an M rating won't do crap, ODST will still be purchased by little kids, through their parents.

I am 16, and Gamestop let's me buy M games whenever.

(a single "F"-bomb in a movie rates it "R")

Actually, there are many movies that say the F word one or two times and are rated PG-13.

False.
I remember some crappy movie where someone says that 'PG-13 movies can use the F word one time' and then john trvolta or somebody "cool" says "F--- that"

Nope, Bungie confirmed that ESRB was giving a T to every Halo game until the Flood was shown, then they were M. ESRB just decided to be frag'n jerks and call it M because it was based off an M rated game.

And besides, Halo 3 ODST looks like it has less bad content than Call of Duty 3 (T).

Not quite. Cloverfield has quite a bit of cursing and a bunch of violence, yet it's only rated PG-13.
But I see where your getting with this and I agree with you, it should be (and is) rated M.

Then your game stop is breaking the law (If it's in America anyways..)
In the US you can't sell M rated games to a minor without the parents consent (Basically the parent has to be there right by your side when you buy the game)

Your friendly and eccentric Sangheili forum-poster. :)

Kind of weird, I always thought of Halo as a game younger teenagers could play. Ah well, it keeps the idiots happy I suppose.
