Yes the library. As a firm believer of the forerunner human theroy, i see that above as a wierd piece of info. A collectioin of cloned Dna sequences whose location and identity can be established by mapping the genome of a particular orginism. This is one of the 8 dictinary entries for library, 7 of wich have to do with the nerd house. But this one has to do with genetics. As nothing here at bungie is a coincidance, this means 1 of 2 things. The forerunners, A mysteriously absent race, with extreme technological understanding. They created halo, and created or found the flood. There location and identity of the forerunners, could be found in the genes of some orginizim, possibly the flood. Or the flood through the same process, we could find out where they originate, and who/what created them. Most likly the former. So if we can find one of those slimy flood bastards, capture it, and get some really exspensive genetic machinery. We can finally find out who the forerunner's are and where they hail, or finally prove that we are they.

what you said (near the bottom, anyway) is exactly what the forerunners were doing. trying to find their origin, etc

I just wish bungie would release a little more info on the forerunner anyway. They must have been INCREDIBLY advanced if almost all the covenent technology was salvaged forerunner stuff. And don't forget, in the book "The Flood" 343 guilty spark says that he has been at the Halo 04 installation for over 101,000 years. thats roughly 75,000 years older than human civilization.
Yep, sure would love to meet'em.

The library is harder then Two Betrayals. They are both quite easy, but Two Betrayals is one of the first levels I ended up beating on Legendary.

Hmmmm but just around the dawn of mankind, i.e. cro magnum man. Suspicious is it not. "Finally, to have a record of all our lost time. Facinating, human history is it? Oh how i will enjoy every moment of its catoragization"--343 guilty spark. what does he mean lost time? Who lost it? Considering he has known no one but the forerunners, you have to assume he means them. Perhaps we were just another one of thier experiments like the flood. They let us run rampant on earth and left little clues for us to find our way home. i.e. the rock in The fall of reach. Or even more interestingly, we are the forerunners, yeah you heard me, we. Here check this out. Some very cool post about all this. Very long ones. So if you like reading crazy theroys, this one for you. Too bad it was locked, DAMN YOU MODDDSSS!!!

when 343 gs said "human history is it" i think he was trying to say that the history that people know is almost nothing compared to the history of the forerunners.

basicly the story is designed to make you go in loopholes you could debate either way that were them or not or have any link with them and that in my opinion is why the story is so good

yea thats your opinion...

im still sticking by my theory that the grunts are the forerunner.

heres my evidence:
1. maybe they are childeren and all the old ones died, and since they have long lives, they dont grow.
2. the covenant took over ther planet and found the technology, but believed the grunts to be worshippes of the forerunneres, not the forerunners themselves
3. when u stick a grenade to a grunt, they cry out "o no, not again!!!"... sounds like something that 343GS might say...

i dont know the fact that halo had an oxegen based atmosphere or is it hydrogene what ever it is not a methane kinda makes me unsure

what if when the flood changed the atmosphere, they would have changed it to methane, the forerunners "destroyed" their own atmosphere to keep the flood at bay.

and i have discovered even MORE evidence to add to my overwhelming pile of... well evidence.

4. Those masks the grunts wear seem to be a little to "hi-tech" for covenant technology... if u know what i mean.
5. i have determined taht 343 guilty spark does NOT speak english, but in fact speaks an ancient dialect of Grunt. This would make sense because they are the only ALF's that u encounter that u can understand.

Yes, oxgyen based atmosphere, earth normal gravity. The grunts say that for comic relief. Because always the almighty foreunners were slapped in the face with a grenade by the mighty spartan. But really 343-guilty had a reason for being a little eccentric, being alone for a hundred thousand years for starters. But if thats all you have to back up your story, well it sounds like a really weak theroy to me. One grunt, with a comidic phrase, and rightfull heir to the forerunner throne of power. Well to back up mine all i have is this amazingly huge topic full with huge responses. Read it, learn it. Be educated.

Dude read the books. A little high tech?? Its a breathing apparatis, how much is there to it. They can navigate slipspace with acuracy to the width of an atom. They are by no means as intelligent as we are, but they are by no mean stupid. They cracked our databases and learned the basics of our language, in a week. I think they can handle a gas mask.
And yes he speaks gruntish with an english accent. Not to mention the fact that our translation software does a poor job, and is often missing words. And the flood liqify the internal organs, including the lungs. but put that aside for a sec. With your whole little flood methans atmosphere crap, how come the marines seem to have no problem breathing in the interiors of halo. As well as the flood being completly dormant at the time they were unleashed. Foo, your theroy is full of holes.
