Using imaginations is much better than seeing. It doesn't matter. You still can't make a game out of Fall of Reach. It would either be one of the most boring games or it would be a Tactical stealth based-game. Something that most the Halo Community would be unable to play.

What?!?!?
If you read "MC battled 100 elites for 5 hours and won"
It would be 100x times better, seeing the fight.
Books rarely go detailed in fights.
The Fights could be bloody and awesome then the books saids, since books cover the Important parts, not the little extra parts.

Die Proud

i thought when a something falls like a city or county than when the county surrenders or they pull out of the city and count it lost, so wouldn't the actions in first strike count as a resistance as there wasn't enough people there???

also Halo wars doesn't really count because it was a completely different Genre of gaming.

Only because the gameplay was so simple by RTS standards, plus there were only a few strategies that worked.
You're undercutting the sincere hate most us RTS players disliked it. I snapped my copy in half.
Then you have some serious anger issues that you need help on.

What's wrong with seeing how Reach fell? It's okay to read about something, but to actually witness it, takes more than words to describe.
Oh, I'm sorry. Are you one of the developers?

Okay, what little of a case you had.

Yours had no case either. Go read the books and use some imagination this time.
I never claimed to have a case. And reading the books is irrelevant, the game will be based on Reach, and how it fell, whether you like it or not.

Well of course theyre different.... on the reach picture theyre lights from the city no brainer in the Halo 3 legend-ary ending, my theory is that they are warning signs of the forerunner possibly like a warning for those who can read it... it might possibly be a forerunner homeworld, (where the forerunner began)
