I've noticed a bit more blood on halo CE than halo 3. It seems when you're walking around after a big battle in CE there's a lot more blue and red splattered against the ground. While in halo 3 they've avoided the use of too much blood.

HALO rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HI.To the fact that halo3 has less blood than halo ce is true but its better in halo 3 cause come on just for 3 bullets on a grunt and all the room is coverd of blood but i coud not tell u why they did the difference.

you are correct because the way i see it on halo 1 wheneve you burst fire on a dead body or if you hit them with the but of your rifle lots of blood comes out of them even flood so your right.

Yes, there is a significantly higher amount of blood in Halo 1 than in Halo 3. A direct hit with a Rocket Launcher will cause more blood than an entire Team Slayer match on Halo 3. Maybe not quite actually, but almost.

No company that uses terms like, head-to-head, man-on-man, action-sack, and mancannon is homophobic.
I supposed that teabagging is.... what, a representation of a new form of colonoscopy?

I remember taking dozens of Elites and Grunts on the beaches of The Silent Cartographer, killing them, and then covering the entire beach with blood.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

There was a lot more blood. I remember at some point on of the emplyees saying that they sent their game into the ESRB and it gave back an M rating. Apparently they were surprised by it, and since it had an M rating they added in a bit more language and more blood.

Each of us is entitled to our own opinions on music. There is ignorant rap and then there is intellectual rap, just as there is ignorant rock and intellectual rock. Even the "ignorant" artists can sometimes be intellectuals, and even the "intellectuals" can be ignorant. The worst thing you can do is be a bigot about music. If it doesn't have any affect on you, then listen to something else. But don't insult someone because their choice in music is not your own. THAT is ignorant.

I agree

I find it really funny how much blood there was in that game.It was like creating a giant abstract art picture out of alien, flood, and human blood. Like in ATCR, you can make an entire room fulled with groovy blood colors and make it look like the 1960's, lol

Halo CE has way more blood the Halo 2 or 3. If you just sit there smacking dead bodies you'll get a huge pool of blood.

I think they might've removed that because of the slow-downs for those psychopaths who spill enough blood to actually start affecting performance (me). 343 Guilty Spark elevators? Creepy. That level is probably the only reason the game got an M rating, because otherwise neon colored bitmaps aren't too scarring =P

P.S: 3 month bump, lol

I might have been one of those psychopaths, its no my fault I just wanted to see how much blood an Elite would spill :S. I almost -blam!- my pants when I played that level. I had forgotten the name of that mission but for some reason one part of the mission stuck in my head for years. That was by far the scariest/creepiest mission in all Halo games. I didn't know this map was this old I never check thread dates :E.

I would hit an Elite Major 3 times, and a Zealot 5 times, at which point the game slowed down, lol. [quote]343 Guilty Spark elevators? Creepy.
Yup. Yup. Did you go back up the first lift instead of going further in? There are bodies strewn about all the way back to the dropship.

OK, I admit it............I have sat on a chain gun for almost five full minutes culling blood out of a pile of closely strewn dead covies in AotCR.................there, I said it!

Wow, I do feel better!

I have not played 3, but I do know that there is less blood on H2 than in CE, and it was a bummer. Blood is fun!

Also, the part of GS 343 that people are referring to, the elevator down, where that shaft is just splattered with blood brings back one of my strongest memories of gameplay. My first time through the game I was so frakking relieved to find that elevator to get out of the rat warren maze that is the level after you first battle the flood. I was just ecstatic that I had made it out alive. Yeah, then the frakkin elevator GOES DOWN! I remember feeling my heart sink and I screamed loudly at the TV "NO FRAKKIN WAY"............yeah, real bummer! Then I got over it and continued to die horribly from those nasty critters. Looking back on it once reason had returned to my brain I knew I should have seen it coming, but the fact that I did not told me how good a job the game creators had done immersing me in the story and leading me blindly off that cliff (I remember feeling their hands pushing me in the back, thanks for the help guys!).

I remember hating that level but looking back, it was probably one of the finest levels in Halo ever made.

And I was kidding about the whole psychopath thing - people do much, much worse to corpses on games like Fallout 3 and Gears =P

Well, in Halo: CE, all you can do is cull blood, and cut apart the heads and arms of Flood combat forms. In Gears, well, you can literally cut them apart.
