FEET FIRST INTO HELL

Hey I just recently heard that the ODSTs are going to be a bit slower in the game, but Master chief didn't run very first in the first place, why can't ODST have a sprint button?

Light Armor.

good question because ODST`s are lighter so it would be able to sprint

" I will seek vengeance upon those who have betrayed my family, and uncover a conspiracy bigger that I could have imagined. I am Ezio Auditore di Firenze. I am an Assassin"

Well Chief was a Super Human and He was wearing like 2 ton armor. I think that the ODST's can run slightly faster but won't be able to take as many hits.

Revvin' up your engine,
Listen to her howlin' roar,
Metal under tension,
Beggin' you to touch and go!

MC his armor makes him move faster and have faster reflexes. It's special armor.

Chief is a spartan remember, he can run fast as hell, also Chief does run a pretty good speed in game

Monkey see, Monkey shoot.

Terry Pratchet - The Best.

The chief can run much faster then ODST's, just didn't seem to be implemented into the game.

I have to look at it but the chief and his suit was damn fast. As heavy as it was it also made his reactions faster and move faster, therefore run faster.

Its a half ton suit first of all. Secondly, in the books it has been mentioned more than once that once the suit is fully on it feels like a second skin and light as a feather. It pretty much holds its own weight. And in the book it also says in there suit they can run about like 30 mph on a quick sprint.

And why in the game would you have MC bolt all around the place which hardly fits a description of how he would fight. You don't see modern day warriors sprinting around a battle field. It only makes sense that he wouldn't go all out for caution.

But anyway back to the actual topic, the ODST defintly can't move nearly as fast as MC.

Sorry for the possible double post.

Yes his augmentations are what gives him the stronger muscles and better eyes for better reflexes. I don't want to go into the whole like description of it.

But the suit has been said to enhance all of his augmentations. And Cortana further enhances all of that.

Yes it does. It is power assisted. It mimics a spartan's movements and amplifies them. That's why in the books marines rip themselves apart when they test out the mark VI MJONLIR

Scuze me, but it was Mark IV.
BURN!

But yeah, ODSTs run slower. The Master Chief is really an old lady, so he likes to have a nice look at everything.

Either that or it would be too confusing if he ran everywhere at 40miles/hour.

Yes it enhances everything like I said in my post. But the reason they are such a force to be reaconed with is because there bodies are augmented thus why they can actually use the armor. According to Hasley, they were the only ones that could use it

well if he could move up to 30 mph he could easily move cover to cover, circle around an enemy and mele them in the back, but he only runs a tiny bit faster than the ODST. I have been killed over and over again from trying to get to cover because he runs so slow

lol!!!
Your both wrong it was currently (First Strike or Battle of Reach???) Mark V, Chief was upgraded for Halo 2 with Mark Vl, and all the small tweaks to the armor for Halo 3 (im preaty sure) arn't considered a new suit... so yea... there you go.
