Check out the group, Planet Reach and talk about Bungie's next game without the annoyance of the public forum. Oh and it's nice there too.

You thought you had lag, it took Jesus 3 days to re-spawn.

After reading the first page, I didn't bother reading further. Despite what people have actively told you, you continue to point the finger at Bungie. Bungie never promised or even implied that the game would be priced lower than a normal retail value of $59.99. They said that they didn't view it as a full-retail price game, and that is all. If you somehow misconstrued that as a "promise", then you need to learn some comprehension skills.

It is common knowledge that Bungie has no rights to the Halo franchise anymore, and with that loss of rights comes the loss of say in the pricing. So no, no negotiations, no haggling, no nothing. They get paid for making the game and that is that.

We've told him that throughout the 4 pages. He'll never get it. He's as dense as a rain forest but maybe someone else with questions will.

--PC Games--
Halo: Combat Evolved
--Xbox 360 Games--
Halo 2
Halo 3
Halo Wars

Campaign $20 + Firefight $10 + Three Maps $10 =/= $60 Maybe I should be talking to some economists, business men, or PR men not a bunch of Halo fanboys. When someone gives you their word, if they don't come through you lose respect for them. This is bad business practice to promise something that won't come through. Any successful person in the world knows this.

All of you who already have all the maps are being blindly robbed. You have to pay for the maps again. I wanna say that you guys who are replying to this thread with insults are getting your mommy's and daddy's to pay for your games. Come back in a few years when you know more and you pay your own way through this world.

Scoped, what did you expect when you went to the Bungie Halo 3 ODST Forum? That there would be no "Halo Fanboys" here?

Yes, I'm being blindly robbed too. I'm not being forced to buy the game, and yes, I have the Heroic, Legendary, and Mythic map packs. So what? They could have just as easily told us to pay 800 more MS to get the other half of the Mythic maps, and people would still buy the game. They are giving us those maps and a multiplayer disc.

Nobody is forcing you to buy this game. If Bungie lied to you, and is trying to rob you by placing (what sounds like to as) ridiculously overpriced games on the market, don't buy it.

Your taking it as a personal insult that Microsoft upped the price, and Bungie thought it wasn't going to be a full game price and since they told you that, they're now liars and frauds because the price went up. They can't control it. It's a full game now.

Don't buy the game if you don't think it's priced right. But as you can see, not many people think that your arguement has much quality, as you will repeat the same things over again. You'd probably get a better reception at a Call of Duty fanbase. I dunno.

Your blood will clean the blood for now.

Our american money is worthless.

ODST - America $60
ODST - Europe $30

$1 = 0.50 Euro.

The game also comes packed with every Halo 3 map released so far, think about that when considering the price.

Would you dance for it?

Are you really that put off by the price?

ODST is a full game at this point. And EVERYTHING is subject to change before launch. Don't feel sad because Bungie promised you a milkshake and gave you a pony. You got the better deal.

I think it's a fair price if you have none of the Halo 3 maps, which would add up to about $20. But if you already have all the maps (like me), then I think it's unfair that I have to pay again for the maps.

I think the people who already spent money on the map packs(which is like, $20 of the pricing on ODST) should get a little something special that people who didn't buy them before won't get.
