So what you guys think about Halos soundtracks? This is the most intelligent part of B.net with some True Halo Fans, so I want to have an intelligent discussion about soundtracks.
Halo CE theme is something you cant forget, and music added to the atmosphere so much!
Library would bee only half as scary without the creepy music. Each time when I listen to the soundtrack, I get memories of John fighting Elites, Cortana in the Control Room, 343 guilty Spark, and ofcourse Johnson :). Halo 2 had a heavier Rock - Like soundtrack with Blow me Away, Mjolnir Mix of Halo Theme, and Follow! The crazy Arbiter flight song! There were some great additions to soundtrack in the second Halo instalment, while the poor third, had only some remixes, and Chanting added to one of the pieces, Woah, Epic. So which of them you like the most? Discuss!

Good job with the ass-kissing. You'll go far here. :D

Definitely Halo: CE. I dislike the remixes and awful reimaginations.

Ass-kissing? I havent seen a SINGLE 12 YEAR saying Bull-blam!- in this forum part, cause its for the true Halo, the forgotten forum part which only real halo fans know xD

Maybe not "true Halo fans", but we prefer this game. The vast majority of the trash-talking under-aged kids are in the Halo 3 Forum, the Halo3: ODST Forum, and the Halo: REACH Forum. They likely don't even know this place exists, and considering their attention spans, why should they care?

An oft overlooked "yet another reason..."
The music has become so familiar, I don't notice it too much. Honestly, I can't even call to mind any of H-3's material. My H-1 fave is "Rock Anthem For Saving the World" - almost reminds me of Mike Patton's stuff: The eclectic mixture and "native" sound. Radio-worthy in a good way.

The H-2 flight theme was by Incubus, no ?
Hard to believe. Perfect piece to logically follow the craziest gaming surprise ever - by that time I was starting to get used to being Arbiter.
Memorieees......

Halo: CE brings back the most memories. Halo 2's I wanted to repress (kidding) and while Halo 3 is probably the best quality-wise, Combat Evolved is the most raw and true soundtrack. Everything you hear, it happened there first.

Haaa, but seriously, I didn't like Halo 2's. There were some good pieces on the first soundtrack, but with the inclusion of some other stuff that really didn't jive with the other bits, it brought the enjoyment pretty far down. Then when Vol. 2 rolled around, it felt like a cut and paste job with the best parts missing.

Halo 2 baby! I only say that because of the song Mjolnir made into into GH which obviously means that it got a lot of attention. Oh and also because the music in H2 is a lot more intense and there is a lot of it!

i believe the best Soundtrack from all the halo series would be from Halo Combat Evolved. The classic Opening suite is hands down compared to halo 2, idk about halo 3 hto.

i personally love the Halo Combat Evolved soundtracks, the Monk Theme is the Most Important Part of all Halo Games, it gives a Special Feeling like in a Monestry.

There are many Good cuts in the Map Files. Especially
Silent Cartographer\sound\sinomatixx_music\b30_ledge_music.ogg from the Cutscene "Shafted"

I started Starori games in 2011.

Halo: CE music is so much better than any of the other Halo games. Here is an example why.

I find it funny that I never heard any of that in Halo 2 itself, and it's all just a remix of Halo: CE music and Cortana speaking.

My favorite so far is Halo 2 music. Halo CE had some incredible songs, including the unnamed song found only in AotCR before you come to the last brige with the banshee, along with many others.

Of Halo 2, it had some outstanding remixes, especially Leonidas. (a remix of On a Pale Horse) while much of Halo 2 music was good, I really liked the sad songs that really touched your heart, like the unnamed soundtrack that plays near end of Sacred Icon when the Arbiter goes down into the long, dark chute, barely escaping the fate of those who encounter the flood.

Anyway, thats my oppinion, Halo rules.
