Subject: Scarab/spectere/scorpian/elephant in firefight?

A wise man once saw a weed struggling to grow under a rock, one month later he returned to see the weed flourishing, only to put the rock back on top of the weed (dooming it), when his his advisors asked why he he simply exclaimed; "That was its fate."

Think.

First off SCARAB, you'd only fight the scarab in vehiclular maps, maybe you'd only have to fight a scarab after like ten rounds, like a boss. it be much easier to kill than in halo3.

Elaphant, you HAVE EARN one, say get 50000 points and then an elaphant would spawn next round, they're not indestructable. Maybe you could earn a scorpian every 1000 points.

PS, what do you you think off getting to fight specters?

BTW whats the Iron 7 everyone has ben talking about?

EDIT: I FORGOT TO MENTION, you don't have to go inside the scarab to destroy it, just shoot it alot like you do in halo wars

Scarab would be too tough. Elephant does sound fun , but I'll take a bus instead.

An elephant just doesn't seem that cool to have in my oppinion but having to fight a scarab would be quite awesome except if you have to kill it the normal way then in the next round you would be screwed because the covenant would spawn right beside you. so they should make the scarab have an area in the front of it you can destroy similar to that big covenant gun at the end of the mission "Storm" where the area you have to destroy only shows up for a few seconds and then hides again and shows up again.

No, no, no, no. The Scarab would be too hard, everyone would quit. The end. Elephants and Scorpions (or any UNSC vehicles for that matter) could spawn it if you unlock a certain requirement but I doubt it. Peace.
PS No idea what the Iron 7 is. All I can think of is the 7 Wood (a remodeled Gravity Hammer that looks like a golf club) and Iron (a skull for Halo 3s campaign that, if you die, sends you back to the start of the level).

" I will seek vengeance upon those who have betrayed my family, and uncover a conspiracy bigger that I could have imagined. I am Ezio Auditore di Firenze. I am an Assassin"

umm. . . . not really a good idea with the Scarb. You have to:

1) Some how get inside of it.
2) Defeat the hordes of enemies that will be in it.
3) Use any remaining ammo and melee moves to destroy the core
4) Survive the Huge jump off of it.
5) Your legs had not exploded on impact, run away while avoiding any surving ground troops.

I think I'll pass.

Elephants aren't so good, sure you can drive them but as soon as the enemies come from behind your dead.

You don't really have to kill the enemies, If you sneak on they might not see you, and they will die when the scarab explodes.
It really isn't that far of a drop from the bottom of the scarab to the floor especially when it sits...

I've been playing Halo since 2002. My earliest memories include hiding at the shotgun window on Damnation and killing my dad with grenades while playing co-op on Pillar of Autumn.

Well, there is a level in ODST where you ride an elephant.... Or at least I believe...

OMG thanks I completly forgot to post half my idea (you could destroy them on the outside just by shooting at it like in halo wars)

That would make it really complicated. I think a hog here and a wraith there is a good setup

  • 06.27.2009 12:02 PM PDT

That would be so awesome. And every enemy on the Scarab was a Chieftan. Will a Gauss kill a chieftan in one shot?
