There's always an insult for me:
You lose: You're a bk, bad, etc.
You win: You're a tryhard, cheater.

Ever think that Bungie was just hinting at their next next game, not unnecessarily along the same timeline?

It doesn't mean MC traveled back in time. The Halo Trilogy w/ MC is over.
The planet is darker because it's already been glassed.

They were just trying to show what might be next. That does not mean it will have the same characters but only where the action will take place.

Armor Lock isn't overpowered. You just suck at Reach :)

Reach isn't bad, you're just a BK :)

For my gamertag, look up "Ghoulishtie"

Even though I STRONGLY disagree, I will admit, that it can be a slight possibility. However, I still say that the planet is not reach.

Are you talking about the Legendary Ending planet? Reach was glassed (all but part of one mountain chain) .5 years+ before the Halo 3 ending. So there would be no lights and no Forerunner symbols on it. They're different Planets.

I think he's saying the legendary ending has absolutely nothing to do with Halo 3 itself, and is instead a reference to Reach.

Enough with these threads. Bungie stated it will be a prequel and be about the fall of reach.

He'd be wrong though since that Planet doesn't look like Reach (no land, no water, no moon, different stars, different sun) and the front half of the Chief's ship is there...

I think it shows a fundamental failure of imagination to believe the planet in the Legendary ending is Reach.

Bungie has created a complex and in-depth universe surrounding the Halo games. There have now been several books and games, all taking place in different settings with unique story lines. There are conceivably thousands, if not millions of former Forerunner installations on planets throughout the solar system.

And yet....a small segment of the community is so limited in their capacity for imagination that they cannot accept the idea that any more planets could possibly exist beyond the ones that have already been revealed. Why is it so hard to imagine that Bungie would reveal a planet in the Legendary ending that you have never before seen and will not immediately learn the identity of?

When these people first saw the planet they demanded that it had to be Onyx, despite all the evidence to the contrary because it was the only former Forerunner planet they had knowledge of. Now, these people have to believe it's Reach for the same type of reason. Let it go. You know nothing about the planet from the Legendary ending and it is not immediately going to be explained to you.

Your feeble attempts to create evidence to force that planet into the known Halo universe only serve to expose the limitations of your imagination and reasoning ability.
