Subject: Whats YOUR Day 1 Halo Reach Plan?

7even is Darker

Assuming you get Reach on day one of course.

If its a school day, then school is prior to my list.

1: Borrow my basement chair, put it infront of my PC monitor where my 360 is set up.
2: Clean my Monitor.
3: Shave
<----------------------------Insert clean bedroom here.
4: Cut all my nails
5: Shower
(The point of those it is so I feel essentially perfect and nothing is bothering me during the experience.
6: (only if it's after school) Wait until diner is ready and I finish it so I won't be bothered.
7: Sit up, turn everything in my room off, turn off the lights, close the blinds, wrap in a blanket with a few cans of Dr pepper and dominate.

Umm...go in my room and play it? I'm much too lazy to do anything special to play a game.

i rock ready aim fire
while yall rock ready fire aim

well for me it concists of getting everything just right aswell, the only diffrence between me and ops plans is that for every halo game thats come out whith the exception of halo wars i have had a marathon of halo titles befor playing the new game with my friends or whoever
its like tantric sex or something
the longer you hold off
the better the finish is
plus its a valid excuse to go back and play ce or h2
and if im in the right mood some of the marathon games.. that happened for halo 2, but by halo 3 i realized that was just too marathohny of a marathon

The first time through I always like to just take in the story, then on the subsequent runs I up the difficulty level for a challenge... I wonder if Mythic will be an actual difficulty option this time.

Thats a good point, the main reason I went heroic my first time through halo 3 was actually mainly because I heard the games length was lackluster, added a good extra hour or so.

1. Cut power to the Bungie District of Kirkland.
2. Disable the backup generator for the studio.
3. Litter the floor with bananas and bananna peels so the webmaster either gets distracted and eats / slips so I don't get pwned by his banhammer.
4. Yoink a copy of Halo Reach
5. Get to the getaway van.
6. Wonder where the hell the getaway van is.
7. Escape under the cover of darkness.
8. Put it into the 360.
9. Turn the 360 on.
10. Create a new account as to avoid suspicion
11. Play Halo Reach Matchmaking.
12. Remember that the game has another month till it comes out so nobody is on matchmaking at all.
13. Slay some dragons in campaign
14. Laugh at all the time travel theorists for being wrong.
15. Go into forge and recreate sandbox.

These should actually be like this:

9. Turn the 360 on.
8. Put it into the 360.
10. Create a new account as to avoid suspicion

This was my opinion until I made a similar thread about this in The Marty Army regarding Halo 3, at which point I was persuaded by Marty to play it on Heroic for the first time. After doing so, I can't say anything but I absolutely agree, since the added challenge fuels meaning of the current of objective and provides a slower pace for me to fully ingest the story.

In other words, my advice is to play it on Heroic.

umm... play it in my room, drink mountan dew, eat doritos, and eat random snack foods i find in the grocerystore. That is all.

Step 1) Bubble myself (from all external everything)
Step 2) Grab my crew (was I supposed to use a k there?)
Step 3) Play.
Step 4) 8 hours in, ignore the headache.

That's about how Halo 3 went, anyway.
