8 player Campaign,
50 player Multiplayer over a campaign size map?

Both would have immense huge-scale battles going on with little old you in the middle.
(This would be ideal to deploy a drivable flyable Pelican in to!)


That would be cool if the xbox 360 engine was 5 times Bigger.........
Its impossible to load that much info and not frezze/ Super lag the 360

The reason campaign is shorter is because bungie needs to work on multiplayer as well.
It will be same length because of how long it would take to make, not disk space.
I just hope they make it better.

Personally I wouldn't care how long it would take, so long as they got the campaign length decent. Halo 2 and 3's seemed somewhat short compared to Halo 1. That said, quite a few game series have followed in the same direction. It just saddens me that multiplayer is the only thing that matters in a game now.

Well if this game follows the battle of reach it will need to be linear not sandbox becauese when there is a MEGA HUGE BATTLE going on you cant be walking around into nowhere.

it's basically the same as puttin them on the sh it list.
excluding them for unknown reasons.
like honestly i know the story moved away from elites but there was plenty of chances to include a fight with elites. ODST being a major one.

Halo CE campaign totally immersed me in to the halo world.
The story is complex enough to make an awesome campaign. Multiplayer is fine but what made Halo is the story telling. I want to forget I am in my living room and be sucked into the Haloverse. I want to feel afraid of the Covenant Horde, to shed a tear when I lose a team mate, to be pumped with adrenalin in the heat of battle. This is what made HALO. This is what the game is all about. If Bungie just made a Multiplayer game with out the story none of us would be playing this game.

1.It not being completely based off the book. Instead having the events pertaining to the Battle of Reach and expanding on the Battle of Reach because we know that's not all that happened.

2. Weapon Customization.

3. The same quality of story telling I have come to expect from Bungie.

I wish u could play as the Different Spartans in Campaign like using Kelly with her ultra fast reflexes or Fred and his Throwing knives haha and Weapon customization to make the Gun unique when u play online and suit how u play and shoot

Touchdown! Hit it Marines!!

I had this idea for how the story in Reach would unfold. Similarly to ODST in that you flashback to play missions, I had this idea of the story following The Spartan II and III's in Onyx. Cutscenes would show Fred, Lucy, Linda, Mendez and Dr Halsey teaching the Spartan III's about their past, what happened at Reach, the missions Blue Team went on etc as they explored the insides of the shield world they're in. As they talk about certain memories, you'd then flashback and play through all the important missions that Blue Team went on, including Cote d'Azur (spelling?) among others. Then skip back to the team in Onyx; like a cool back and forth, if you know what I mean. Then some of the final missions you'd play through the Battle at Reach. In the last mission, you'd assume the position of Fred maybe, as they encounter a danger in Onyx, and you'd fight along side the Spartan III's. Then cliffhanger ending; John and Cortana crash land and link up with the team (somehow?).

It looks (on the box) like 4 people and a.... something.
It could be Johns four friends from the book, who's names i cant think of, and someone else.
Im thinking 5 player co-op would be crazy, and cool, if they have bigger battles.
I hope they have the massive areas like Halo 1, but with more 'life' (enemies)
I hope they really capture the story and make it really deep and dark, since most of the spartans are going to die there.

in the trailer, they also go higher in number of spartans, spartans numbers only went to 150 i think and they were saying numbers like sierra-200+.
in the books there were unknown spartans so...

Yes i watched that IGN video lol, but its true and makes a lot of sense.
