I am, they are not excellent speakers but still make games sound awesome. It's going to be so cool to play on live with surround sound, if you don;t have them buy them, at least cheap ones ($100) they still make a big difference in the game sound.

I have a Sony DD5.1 receiver.. I also have a projector capable of producing a nice 80inch screen for the XboX, but it needs a new *expensive* lamp :-/

I plan to get it all together and working for November 11th tho.

Well, when I get halo2, I already got surround sound, my xbox, and my 52' screen tv. I've been ready!

Yes they do.

Unfortunately, I needed something portable as well, moving from college and back, BOSE definately couldn't do that.

How could I not. I was floored the first time I played Halo1 with surround. I spun once about sixty degrees right and off screen on instinct and shot a grunt with a needler just because I could hear what direction the needles were coming from.

Now, that is awesome. Plus, the way Cortana's voice only comes from the rear satellite speakers adds an almost "in your head" feeling.

By the way, I too have the wimpy little 5.1 Logitech for my apartment. They're quite fine pieces and I enjoy them emensely and considering I sell audio (and have heard quite a few crappy one's) I'm quite pleased with the ambience. As it is, if I turn my speakers up above 3, then everyone starts whining that it hurts their ears. Wussess!
