Subject: Halo Custom Edition Problem, Turning off Anti-Aliasing Mode?

The device has been modified....

I recently downloaded and successfully installed Halo Custom Edition. However I find that every time I try to play the game The menu is a blank screen but I can still hear the music and button noises.

I tried looking up on halomaps.org (which is where I downloaded it from) for a solution and it states that I have to turn off anti-aliasing mode.

I then attempted at looking on Control Panel for the Display settings but found no such mode as Anti-Aliasing. So is there anyone out there which has the same or similar problem and maybe even a solution?

Thanks,
-DigitalBrute

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

I don't use ATI video cards, but from what I'm heard you need to use the Catalyst prgram to disable anti-aliasing. You can find it here.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

that "solution" says that normal Halo PC works with AA, which is wrong so I don't know how accurate that is. But to turn off AA with ATI 3450, right click on your background desktop, and click "Catalyst Control Center", click "3D" and then click "Anti-aliasing" and set it to "application control." If you don't have Catalyst installed, you probably should since the Vista drivers are meh.
