So you like it? I need to know if there are any flaws that I did not foresee.


You might want to include a damage reduction.

The accuracy reduction is good, but some combinations may still be too powerful.

Barrel climb should be for every weapon that would have recoil.
IE,:
Magnum
Sniper RIfle
Battle Rifle
Assault Rifle
SMG
Marathon Machine Gun (halo Reach banner, left side)
Carbine
Fuel Rod
Spiker
Brute Shot

This way, Plasma weapons would have an advantage over other weapons.

And dual wielding is useful since you can carry more ammunition, and also fire one weapon while reloading the other.
Only already dual wieldable weapons could be dual wielded.

Exactly. I don't understand why people say, "Oh, a spartan can handle it."

Of course they can, that is why marines can't dual wield to begin with.


There's also another problem with that, unless they haven't noticed that even with a single SMG, that when you fire it, it starts to go up as a result of recoil. Who can't notice that?

You have to go to the market place and download the maps. They are in total 1200-1600 MS points.

You are right. The only solution I can think of is for the needles to sped up, and then have the tracking removed.

Well, if they could modify the Needler just enough so that it wasn't too underpowered or overpowered like in Halo 2, I'd love to have it dual-wieldable again. And th Assault rifle, like I said, was a maybe because I know that it already is quite a large gun.

Agreed, but I always equated the Plasma Rifle to the Assault Rifle (well, not in Halo 2/3 since it's the Covenant SMG)

I think that the Plasma rifle needs a stock. Without a stock it seems like a mini uzi.

duel wielding is a big issue for games, IMO when we have full virtual reality (as in, fully submersed in the game, no limits, every weapon will be "duel wieldable" but the larger the weapon, the slower you move while duel wielding and the less accuracy you have, like if you duel wielded a turret, you duel wielded a turret you wouldn't be able to move at all, and probably no bullets would hit your target,unless you are shooting at a group of 1,000 somewhat men, so it would be pointless to duel wield weapons such as turrets or rocket launchers, cause you would suck with them, but you would still be able too

I think the assault rifle should be left as a single wield, in order to keep the SMG effective, but otherwise yes to the idea of increasing the size of the HUD's firing area.

Maybe they could just limit the tracking, kinda like how the plasma pistol evolved from the Original Halo, not just outright remove it. [Edit: to the needler btw]

i didn't say they should let you duel wield every weapon im just saying that, when VR comes, debate like this wont be necessary cause if you are in the game (in a sense) and you try to do something and cant, itll probably feel weird, and i dont mean like trying to fly like superman, i mean like if you tried to pick up another weapon but it wouldn't let you, that would probably kill your desire to play

true true, but imagine trying to pick something up in real life and then trying to pick something else up but you cant, and for no reason, thats probably how it would feel in VR since VR is the closest thing to reality, without being real, it would screw with your mind
