Those who think there all that are all truly dead on the inside

Sounds really good cause i love dual wielding, but i can still take down duel SMG's with one so i don't think its over powered to duel wield but still nice idea.

Exactly.

More power--->Less accuracy
Less power---->More accuracy

this is genius. it makes perfect sense and it would make gameplay more realistic. i wouldnt mind if they took away dual wielding because i like single wielded weapons. it would be badass if you could dual wield swords

Not a bad idea, not bad at all. To be quite honest I love the idea.

You can't kill what's dead.

Stand. Fight. Resist. S2F.

Very, VERY good idea. I don't know if you included this, but trying to aim two guns with two separate hands? That definitely cuts down on accuracy as well.

I'm glad this is being received so well. 9 pages of positive replies.

It's a concept that is in much need of improvement in the Halo games, for balancing issues. And to make things more realistic.

you make a good point with the physics thing. -BUT- you forget, that you are wearing a spartan suit. (It kinda makes you stronger.)

And marines can't dual wield at all. Spartans (7'), Elites (8'), and Brutes (8'-9'?) are the only creatures that can dual wield.

Bungie should seriously look into your theory.

It makes perfect sense. MoAr PoWar. Less Accuracy.

  • 08.05.2009 10:44 PM PDT

I wonder if Bungie employees even look in these forums. Because I haven't seen any Bungie response to any thread.

They normally don't. It makes it obvious that they're looking for ideas, which COULD be taken as a sign of weakness. If a Bungie employee says, "Yes, we'll incorporate that," that ruins the surprise and other companies will flock to add that feature in their game. Bungie just wants to keep everything a secret. They're listening to us, don't worry, they're just watching from the comfort of their couches... silently...waiting...

Yet on Infinity Ward site, they are accepting ideas for customized kill streaks for MW2.

Yeah true. I've only seen them post in the Halo 3 forum.

*Possible add on to your idea* Dents in armor = Win

But of course, not too many dents where it overdoes the whole idea.

  • 08.05.2009 10:50 PM PDT

I just think that the armor should be darker, and grittier. It is too plastic/action figure.

  • 08.05.2009 10:52 PM PDT

Yup sounds good too.

  • 08.05.2009 10:56 PM PDT

Now if I wasn't 15, and had some good experience with game design, I would love to work for either IW or Bungie.

But alas, I want to become a doctor.

Guys, ignore the link.

Most likely a virus or something.

  • 08.05.2009 11:08 PM PDT

Got an idea.

Maybe certain dual wield-able guns could mainly be focused on accuracy?

But slightly lowered on power. But not low enough not to kill someone.

yea and even when wearing your "oh so powerful defies physics of the universe" armour there is a slight recoil from SMGs, Magnums, Mauler, Spiker, and that happens when you sinle wield them with 2 hands, how does that fit in with idea of Spartan armour defing the laws of physics of the universe that everyone else follows.

I was wrighting all my secrets and strats and a pros and cons, but i don't want alot of mes running around. i'll say this instead.

I am SHOCKED!

This already is there!
Eg; SMG Beats Br With power smg takes down the shields almost straight away but it's close range and takes a punch to finish them of quickly, smg>br

Duals are GREAT just need somthing with it like another weopan, a 'nade, a punch or allied fire, you'll be surprised at what can be done with the weopans if you used them, If people dissagree and say "nah BR win all de tiem" Br wins for the practicality, it's the most practicle weopan [Dual Combos>Brs]

I like this idea.
I also want to see some other things affect your accuracy though, kind of like CoD4...but just a little. Reticules get larger the faster you are moving, and even larger when you jump. Crouching and holding still would be the only way to get the smallest reticule.

i would like to see it done this way, I think that would be pretty cool, because it seems like people rely way too much on grenades in H3

thats great for Cod but lets take thing slow, so slow that we are practically stopped, we will use his idea and not go any further
