All I ask is that you don't try to capture me.

Your money is not required, you can get plenty of answers here for free. :)

Try posting your PC's specs, specifically your graphics card and processor type.

I wonder if the Wolf thinks the Moon listens when he howls at it.

either your system has a ton of viruses, which in that case you should reload it, or its just not powerful enough so you need to upgrade your hardware

You should check out Zero Studios sometime,it's actually pretty fun. There aren't even trolls there,surprisingly...

Note:This is the end,fix all tutorial, only do this after exhausting all others.

Take off the casing of your tower, and blow the dust gently off everything.

Screw the casing back on.

Next,Go to task manager and try and keep the processes under 35,if possible.I usually have around 30 on my XP computer. Not sure for vista anymore.

Start Halo 2.

If it is still laggy,go into appearance controls for your computer, and set it to a lower color range.

Start again.

If it is still laggy, try ending Explorer.exe right before you start it,this will disable your dekstop, and cut lag dramatically.

If it is still laggy, you are going to have to format your computer, make sure to do it 3 times though,to get everything.

Reinstall Vista, and Halo 2:Vista,then see if you can play first.
If you can, just download AVG AntiVirus, then dedownload the programs for your computer that you need.

If you can't,then your computer is simply not good enough.

GT: Chaotic Peace

I read somewhere in these forums that Halo 2 Vista doesn't play well with laptops...

Depends on what type of Laptop you run.

My laptop runs it just fine, I avg 150fps with all settings on high and 1440X900 resolution.

And before anyone tries to call me out, run the game with -novsync in the command line to eliminate the vsync.

Although, my laptop is running a Quad-Core overclocked to 2.93ghz, and Dual ATI 3870's in crossfire.
