I've been playing Halo since 2002. My earliest memories include hiding at the shotgun window on Damnation and killing my dad with grenades while playing co-op on Pillar of Autumn.

The health bar is EXACT.

Bungie must have been involved.

What spectagon are you in?

Nice find.

It only takes one bullet to kill us but the question is, can u get us before we get you? - Ghostlykills

maybe bungie didnt have anything to do with it hence why there are 2 adds 1 before bugnie went to sue and the second one changed a little to make bungie happy who knows untill someone speaks from bungie.

p.s. Thanks for making the first productive reply.

Good eye, man. Definitely the Halo/ce hud, and definitely not worth a lawsuit. It was for only ½ a second. I bet Bungie would be like, (in excitement) "THAT'S FROM HALO!!!!"

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Far out man. I wonder if they got approval or just hoped no one important would notice.

Underwater Eagle.

That's actually pretty cool. I wonder if Bungie was involved.

E4web

That looks like a carbon copy.

I doubt there's a case to sue, though. Artistic and poetic licence is far outreaching and it's not as if the HUD is patented. However, if Microsoft can prove that the textures were ripped from the game in their .DDS glory then I believe there could be a case as it would be using copyrighted material in a manner not authorized by the publisher (i.e. commercially). However, even then, it would be a very weak case as there is a huge time gap between Halo:CE and that commercial.

That's just my $0.02, for what it's worth.

EDIT: Or Bungie/Microsoft was involved.

Owners of the Katana: A place for those who have a Katana or over 1000GS in Halo 3.

Somewhere out there... in an alternate reality... Marty decided to stay in the ad jingle business, bringing about an age of amazingly orchestrated Pampers commercials.

What really caught my eye was the health bar, which is basically identical to Halo's.

Noticed this the first time I saw the advert. Guess there's a secret Halo fan working there. ;)

Cool. Either this is an epic way to promote halo or halo is coming to that platform. Doubt that though.

What really caught my eye is the fact that the entire thing was identical to Halo: CE's HUD.

Some can come away from reading "War and Peace" thinking it a simple adventure story, while others can read the ingredients on a gum wrapper and unlock the secrets of the universe.

Hole-lee crap.
win.
win.
This add actually makes me want to go and buy a phone and service. How much are those things anyway?
What I saw
what xenocrackerjack saw

IKR!? This has to be one of the first phone commercials that actually makes me want to buy it. (other than the new "blackberry loves U2" one)

Don't hate... ...loathe.

When I watched it there was a comment of "Halo!", on youtube. It was so short I had to watch it again. It appers at 49 seconds into the clip.

I think the motion tracker is different, could be the wide screen though.
