If this was possible, I'd like to see a new game mode in Reach. Covenant Campaign. Have you ever seen a grunt try to fire a missle launcher? It would be hillarious in Macinima. (please correct me if I spelled that wrong) When a weapon is fired, the target reciticle would rise like the weapon kicks. It would replace your usual Covenant enimies with marines, and the occasional Spartan II. Throughout the game, as you unlock either achievements or beat levels, you unlock the new character models. Also, at the start of the level, you would have a choice of character, with each pros and cons.

Grunt
+Pros: Small, Fast, Stealthy.
-Cons: Lowest of the low (hence forth pushed around by elites), can't hold large weapons, and very low defense\health, If Methane-pack is shot, vision slowly begins to fade as grunt suffocates, leading to death, can only hold small weapons (ex: plasma pistol, needler, etc.)

Jackal
+Pros: Energy sheild, binocular-mask-sniper-thing, can hold the Covenant Carbine and Battle rifle.
-Cons: Limited energy sheild, while walking, target reciticle bounces because of the hunchback body of the jackal.

Elite
+Pros: Recharging sheild, can hold all weapons and dual weild, active camo
-Cons: Active camo is time limited, and just like the jackal, target reciticle bounces, but worse.

Hunter
+Pros: Very powerful, devastating melee attack, fuel rod cannon, lots of armor
-Cons: Very slow, fuel rod cannon has infinite ammo, but after each 3 shots, a recharge period occurs, once armor is broken off through melee or explosions, cannot be replaced.

Because it is a prequel, a brute model is'nt needed. If you have a suggestion, etc etc, leave a comment.

Yes, but not like that. MOre along the lines of the arbiter missions.

I'm sure a studio, whether bungie, gearbox or halo team, will get to it.

Ok, but without arbiter, or perhaps the earlier arbiter. The one inbetween halo wars and halo 2

I forgot to say this, but it would be a SEPERATE game mode.
