Your right about the weapons we have are better. But here is the Space Elevator
FBHS Track/Cross-Country TeamI'm a First Degree Black Belt in Tang-Soo-Do, I love distance running and playing other sports. On my spare time I play video games. I'm a really nice guy, but when people attack me I have no choice but to attack back. I have no problem with nerds, but I HATE Halo nerds. I can't stand them. Halo is a game, not a way of life nor is it real.

Posted by: ForgewolfYour right about the weapons we have are better. But here is the Space ElevatorI assumed you meant one was currently under construction. That seems like an interesting project. I hope it's successful.
Who wouldn't a more peaceful way to go out into space in my thoughts. However in New Mexico, for $200,000 and three days of training, you can take a trip in space. It was on the CNN news website a few days ago.

Posted by: AssaultCommandPosted by: SleggerModern? It says it was proposed in 2002, and no new information. This obviously means it isn't being worked on/developed. The military doesn't need to tell us. Its secret! Yeah. Like Area 51. They be hidin somethin. You be seen there, you be shot on sight

Posted by: Gator187Posted by: Zombie Governorlooks like i'm joining the MarinesI'm going to be a real-life ODST!wow...Just wow... Please don't join the military, just stick to video games. And remember in real life there are no respawns.Oh yeah, Never Mind. Wait, Does the military accept 12-year olds?
My dad works at the Airforce Research Laboratories. I wonder if he know's anything about them.
Not Aliens or any of that crap. That's just where they test new Aerospace tech. The F-117, SR-71, U-2, F-22, F-35, and many other planes were first flown there before anyone but the high ups knew anything about them.
really guys the covies are coming. zomg
Posted by: Smith LordsOh yeah, Never Mind. Wait, Does the military accept 12-year olds?I heard the Taliban does.
Yea i heard about this a while back and wasnt it in one of Tom Clacny's games????Im joining the Marines no matter what dropping in from space is just a bonus
"Youre the noob im the froob!"That was my signature since WAY back, since 2009ish. Never gonna change it.
I dont think youde live even if you were in the most protected pod ever. Because when you hit the ground youre gonna go flying into a wall. Even with a seatbelt on, you would probably break the seatbelt.
IF IT MOVES SHOOT IT IF IT SCREAMS LIKE A COVENANT SHOOT IT AGIAN IF I JUST WONT DIE FRAG IT IF THAT FAILS BRING OUT THE TANKS AND HAVE SOME FUN
man the thought of orbital drops makes me like wanna do that crap you know just the thrill of falling from space in something
Secret project maybe bungie is helping them with the design.
this project was most likely scrapped, seeing as how no nation would want the U.S. to have an extreme edge over them. Also how much money used to train marines to fall from orbit is costly and the death rate would be high.[Edited on 06.27.2009 9:47 PM PDT]
The Deathrate may be high....BUT imagine how scared the opposing enemy would be when they see a Drop Pod or several flying at them they would run for their lives thinking that its a nuke or missle or the world was ending because meteors are flying at them lol[Edited on 06.27.2009 9:57 PM PDT]

Yea im ready im strong and got great stamina i just gotta finish my Senior year and im in Hoorah! If they did use a Space Drop that would be so effesctive especially at night if we were at War we could just lauch squads of Marines into a city without having to break through the countries borders and fighting inward[Edited on 06.27.2009 10:08 PM PDT]
Halo: CE Anniversary Achievement IdeaC-C-C-CANNON BREAKER!Let Sgt. Johnson die on Halo.
Damn, if only they pursued that idea. That would be so bad ass to see a real life ODST.
Damn, that actually does sound like ODSTs.I bet ODSTs are based on that though. I'm sure a project like that was going on since pre-november 2001. ODST drop pods are the same as drop pods of other natures found in halo 1.
