Well.... To let you all notice, players have been complaining towards my skills CE or not..
I am getting sick of it, they think I modded when im hosting a server in which my skills are hated other than understood... I hate to say it, but Bungie should have made a system where if a user's map file is not equal to the hosts map data of the map the host is using, then the player would be either automatically removed from the server/IP host or sent to a link to download the map or mod... In which if a player is trying to mod for dirty deeds, he cant get anyone who cant do what he can do! Also this helps and avoids players being exitted from the game.. The Halo client server should work somewhat like UnrealTournaments.
Since Im still impatient for this, I will explain! LMAO! YAY-AAAAAAAAH!
The Halo client server should/could show all maps and especially new maps that were designed...Maps that are not currently had by the individual user will be shaded out and unable to acess in the list, but if the designer of the file indicated its available location/s, the user attempting to join will be shown a list of the links to the downloads to this file/s in which there is more to this..If the user is joining a map that the user haves "but modded", he will be sent a message
"Your Map Data Is Different From the Client's server" This message will be handy in which modders can only destribute "modded" maps manually... The map's designer info will be scanned upon its date and author and any 3rd party info to back thereselves up in case of whatever. The date of the map file would be most significant in which it will pend upon before or after: If the user has an later date than the host's map, the player will be told "This server has indicated that your map is a modded version" then the user will be shown the links to the download...
In other words, Bungie or whatever can make a database of protected maps in which is not downloadable there...But can indicate between official maps and modded maps more efficiently and truthfully more than the world wide web! Maps can have the same name, but map authors cannot and cannot have the same name of their map name but can have multiple maps with unique map names "in her/his list".. The designer may update their map version as pleased, but will disable protection of the designer's older version in which can be switched back anyways...
OMG IM SO SMART!!! Hope ya can get this done Bungie... =/ PLZ!
If you need any more of my instant ideas, just holla...
Bet you think im some ametuer, well than how did you have Halo in absence of this???
No offense, please please no offense... =D
LOL.. Im not better than you ok! Just giving ideas.. Well..I may become better later on..
Face it, Bungie is the best out here though... Blizzard takes 2nd place in line.
-Thankyou!
