I doubt harland has lifted much heavy materials or has spent his recent time training to become better and better in the field, in any case an ODST is an elite unit not just a normal marine so they will be strong, just not as strong as MC

Does it really matter? It's a big gun, but ODSTs are awesome enough to lift a turret.
They are the Chuck Norris of the average humans.
