How to spell "space"?

S-P-ACE! SPACE!

... So, you're asking to use a cover system and choose your starting weapons?
That's what I interpreted.

Halo CE is not slow at all, Halo 2 is little slower and Halo 3 is the slowest but its not too bad. If the game played like Halo CE then it would be faster and more chaotic.

A cover system would be pointless.

Choosing your own starting weapon at the beginning is a ridiculous idea.

Going prone would only result in one thing. Your enemy would jump on you an melee you to death.

All weapons should spawn at different parts of the map not some armory you spawn in.

Also, at the beginning of the game we are given several seconds to choose what weapons we want in safety, such as the safe room in L4D.

Sounds like spawning to me

Halo doesn't need a prone. There is no point. You want cover crouch behind something. There are no objects low enough that you can only go prone to hide behind them. Halo requires a lot of mobility and going prone doesn't allow that.
