Surrender or Die!

Never really ever found this out, was that level only created just to show off what the game can be or did they take that level out for another reason? That level really got us all hyped for halo 2, bummer that we didn't actually get to play it hua? :(

No company that uses terms like, head-to-head, man-on-man, action-sack, and mancannon is homophobic.
I supposed that teabagging is.... what, a representation of a new form of colonoscopy?

They didn't really take it out. The level in the demo was just the early stages of Outskirts and Metropolis. There are a lot of similarities.

You agree with yourself Sabaton? That's good to know :p

lol, I'd like to see the conversations when he dissagrees with himself.

I didn't know about this earth level though, sounds interesting. Maybe it was perfected and changed into another look to suit multiplayer better or maybe it was a campaign level that was changed. Ah well, I think it's a little too late for updates to Halo 2 now seeing as how ODST is about to be released in the near future and Reach is in development.

No, you don't. It's brutal, it's painful, mothers are left childless, children are left motherless...
Not fun for anyone.
But, if you're talking about the demo thing, was really something. Got folded into the two different levels. I really liked the Jackals that advanced in Roman fashion. That was cool.

No some guy said that he thought the demo level was better than the actual game level. I guess his post is hidden because he got banned or something.

what was the diff of the br of final h2. and that one.. there is alot can you note it

idk, the demo version was single shot, and you couldn't see how much ammo you had (on the gun itself)?

The demo shot was indeed the beta of halo 2, (back when prophets or the scarab didnt even exist yet) the creator of the level changed it later on, claiming it was like fighting in a tin can.

While I thought the beginning was cool, I could see why they changed it when it got to the driving part. (if you chose to explore on foot instead if driving, there wouldnt be much exploration in those tightly inclosed streets)

The E3 demo was very cool, but I think I actually like Outskirts / Metropolis better. Think about it. While they might not be as epic as the E3 demo, the Outskirts / Metropolis levels gave us the Scarab, the bridge battle, and that awesome courtyard battle at the beginning of the level. By comparison, E3 didn't offer much in the way of interesting things to do. Sure, it feels more epic, but if you pay close attention you'll realize Master Chief doesn't actually do much of anything in the E3 demo except shoot and drive. He basically just runs around and watches all this cool stuff going on around him without actually participating in any of it.

And that's why Outskirts / Metropolis pwns the E3 demo.
