what i would like to see is for a human melee weapon a military grade sword with about the same strength and stuff as a energy sword sort of like the ones that are crossed over the sheild for heroic
No offence but this game isnt in the 16th century. The halo series takes place betwen 2500 - 2600. Why would they have swords when they have much more advanced technology?
Well, Spartans were originaly made to counter terrorist actions, the terrorists did not always have advanced weaponery, sometimes they just had normal handguns, gus that wouldnt do much damage to a Spartans suit (Mjolnir II or whatever). In those cases, equiping a Spartan with a highly advanced vibro (and other cool -blam!-) sword would be much more effective of cleaning up rooms, the freakin blade would pretty much cut thru walls. And that leads me into ´my next reason: cutting stuff, doors, trees, etc.
Well, i think it would work if they make it look more their century like the energy sword rather than a sword used in the 1500s.
Well unfortunately ofr you, they don't. Also, there were combat knives in Halo long before Modern Warfare came out (you know those "swords" on the Normal, Heroic, and Legendary symbols? Yeah, they aren't what you think). Stop following the bandwagon that anything that involves classes, knives, night-vision, and modern technology means it is from Modern Warfare. All these things existed before Modern Warfare even came out.
