Why dont the Covenant just use toxins and viruses on the humans. I mean the Covenant dont have laws that say we cant use this because its inhumane or what ever species name they insert instead of human.

Or why dont the humans use viruses on the Covenant, like anthrax or bubonic. I dont like the idea of using bacteria and viruses in war but if it would give the humans an edge than they should use it.

Marine-- Come and take your medicin!
Brute-- [drinks vile of bubonic] Chachaaa [dies].

I have been wondering since the beginning why the humans don't just engineer a biological weapon to take out the Covenant fleet and hopefully all of them.

It would only take a few of them to be infected...

I have read every book and I do not see why a biological weapon would not be effective against the Covies.

It might be that the physiology (spelling) between the Human and various covanant races might not be different enough to be able to use Biological weapons safely against each other. Mutations happen, especially when you design a germ to reproduce as rapidly as possible so as to be able to take out as many bad guys as you want it too.

Another theory might be that the covanant have the advanced technology to counter-act any human made viruses or germs... and I wouldnt find it hard to believe if due to their religous beliefs, the covies dont use them on us.

If you wanted to make a drug ofor fighting the covies you would need to engineer a disease/virus for each covie race. Then it may mutate and be poisonous to both humans and covies. Also, if the engineer are quick learners they could probably engineer a cure quickly for the virus.

Yea... well, make it a smart nano-virus then. Can you say "grey-goo?"

They should do it at the end of Halo 6, so we can finally see all those Covies die slow and painful deaths. Those dogs.
