who here thinks that if bungie is dumb enough to implement project natal into halo reach in some way the game would just simply be a fail?

something that will let you literaly hump the faces of your victams can not fail.
i cant wait for it you i can run around arm flayling my enemys to death

  • 06.30.2009 1:39 AM PDT

what would happen if somebody was AFK? would your in game counterpart just disappear?

anyway, this seems ok, but they have to do it right! im gonna have a fat pile of poop in my cereal if i wait, and it fails, epically.

i have faith in Bungie tho... i dont think they would give us something that strays from our halo experience that we've gotten.

one thing i definitely dont like about using natal; i play on my computer monitor, i barely have enough room for me to get out of my chair due to the couch behind it. i dont think natal would work very well in such a confined space.

I've said it a bajillion times. When I want to play a video game, I want to unwind, not waggle my arms all over the bloody place. That's the reason that my Wii is gathering dust.

If Reach requires Natal as a form of controlling the game, I will be disappointed.

First of all, if Bungie decides to implement Natal into Halo: Reach, they will give the option to play just as well without the system. In fact, I am sure that Halo: Reach is being designed with the controller as its focus and is only being made Natal compatible. Why? Because the beta will come out long before Natal hits stores. If Halo: Reach is primarily a Natal game, it defeats the purpose to have a Beta in which players are not testing the full extent of the game.

Also, I really don't see what's so bad with Natal. Everyone's super skeptical and I am too but come on! If Halo: Reach is going to use Natal, its going to be one of the titles to use Natal at launch. They won't let such a risky move be accompanied without full controller support.

If anyone doesn't like natal, just play with the Controller. With Bungie's track record, I'm pretty sure that the experience will still be awesome.

Besides, Natal + Halo could actually be quite fun.

If the game is made with Natal in mind then the game will not play right without. So even though you can use the controller Bungie made the decision it was necessary to use Natal.

Loyalty is all I have.

Is everyone here just scared of change in videogames, or change in general? lol

With video games change is pretty easy. If you want change go to a new game series. No need to change Halo into a Wii game or Call of Duty when you can just go get a Wii game or Call of Duty.

i just dont think project natal is something that would be good with a FPS i could understand maybe and MMO or somin but i think i would take the fun right out of halo

The point is to be physical, get off the couch and have fun.
The point is to get fat people off their couches and play the god damn game.

God dammit. The words out of Mr Harold Ryan's mouth has been twisted so much. He said "I absolutely think 'Reach' could be enabled with it,"

He didn't say "OMG YEA! LOL! REACH WILL USE NATAL FOR SUREZ!"

A game can be built around two control schemes. Bungie's the father of good controls on a Console. If anyone can do it and do it well, its them.

So, you want to hear a story eh? One about treasure hunters? Have I got a story for you!

How are we supposed to use a vehicle, for example the banshe?
What about t-bagging? it would be hard.
How are we going to pause the game?
And I dont want to run around the whole game!

  • 06.30.2009 7:18 AM PDT

How are you going to be able to look at the TV if you want to turn around?

  • 06.30.2009 7:28 AM PDT

Snakie Purple.

"Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog"-Hamdog.

Twatter

Who said Reach used Natal!!!!???

If anyone could explain this, I'd appreciate it. I don't recall Bungie ever saying reach would be using natal.

  • 06.30.2009 7:32 AM PDT

Bungie knows what they are doing. Whether Natal is used a lot, a little, or completely optional, I'm sure Bungie will handle it well. I'm still a bit worried, but they definitely get the benefit of the doubt from me.

Look people, just cause it uses Natal, does not mean it is gonna be a Wii rail shooter, did everybody forget about the voice and facial recognition? How cool would it be to have the game recognise you and follow your issued commands? No, but that would be too kiddy and sucky and it would ruin the game right? It's called change people, deal with it.
Sigh, I guess people completely forget about this part right here. Milo may be scary, but we might see an ability to talk to squad, give them discrete orders and such. Since we do not know what the game will be like think of how Halo3 would use this. You might be able to carry on conversations with arbiter, johnson, and other marines. You might be able to tell arbiter commands, or tell him to pick up weapons. Sure I don't want to jump around like a five year old, but that doesn't mean that shouldn't include NATAL in the game.

They are... They talk about it here. Personally, I think it would be fun every once in a while to just really get to feel like you are a Spartan. IMO
It is not confirmed. Read it. It says it may use Natal.

Natal actually puts you in the game. IMO, you're lazy.

I'm getting tired of all these Natal = Fail threads. Try and LOOK for a thread about it before you make another thread.
