Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

~Long Live Halo 2
Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

how are out lines supposed to be in 3d?

no the outlines arent 3d they cant be made 3d but it makes the character look 2d.

it just looks like that because its dark and the outlines are bright so you can't see as much detail in the character

what he said
and you dont need to use the visr

I can see the characters look 2D-ish when I pause the trailer on the VISR parts.
But then again, I'm looking at a still image, which is 2D. If it's moving, however, it looks perfectly 3D to me.

what Ive come to realize in the game play trailers on your HUD it shows your enemies with a red outline which makes them seem 2D ish. i think it looks cheezy and its not really necessary to use since we know the enemies and the cross hair goes red also to indicate its an enemy. what are your thoughts on this

instead of a flachlight u get a VISR wich works better at night ill put a link up to show u where i got this from.

ive watched the same game play on both the computer and the console it look pretty 2d. ok lets say it doesnt look 2d which a number of all you say it still is unnecessary to have the outline.

I agree that it's fairly simple to distinguish the enemies, but it at least provides some simple "right here" in case you overlook a shadow in the pitch blackness.
It's like Halo's version of Navi. "Hey! Listen! Hey! Listen! Hey! Listen! Hey! Listen!"
