Subject: The main thing that they should bring back for Halo Reach

The thing that they have to brg back is the BXR and the Double shot
i mean this is what separated the pro's from the bk wanna be's
if they could brg that back to reach omg reach would then be the best game ever

Yeah... they didn't put those button combos into Halo 2 on purpous, there is a reason they are called glitches.

Laggen' ain't easy

Just like everyone said they were glitches,, and they were border line cheating. Why would put glitches like that back in a game on purpose? That is why they have multiplayer betas now.

Go Rams and Missouri!

No, the combos ruined Halo 2.

It is a great community for the hardcore gamer.
Tell them Mongerty sent you

This is like asking for superjumps to be put back in. Also, nerf the grenades and make duel wielding overpowered please. That way I can relive 2004 all over again.

  • 06.30.2009 12:37 AM PDT

dude the only reason you say they were like cheating is because you were to bk at the game to do it

Wow. That is just pathetic. They were glitches that ruined Halo 2. Quad Shoting was easy but it made the game -blam!-. The BXR and BXB were even worse than Halo 3's pathetic melee system. They didn't take skill or make you cool for doing them.

yeah they could put all sorts of combo's in, make it like street fighter, just without telling anyone so all the wanna be pro's can keep it within the forums and own the casual gamer, getting them fed up and eventually packing up, leaving playlist populations at just a couple of thousand, making you wait ages for a match.......

good call put them in, or go play halo2

Nah. I wouldn't mind the BXB (it was originally meant to be in H2, check the E3 2003 vid) but not the BXR or RRX. The biggest things Id like to see return: fall damage, no melee lunge, no dual wielding.

I like melee lunge but not when I go 10-15 feet.

Exactly. Bungie did not put those in on purpose.

By the way, how does being able to glitch make you a pro at Halo? (Oh, there is no such thing as a pro at Halo, it just means you play a -blam!- load of it.)

Yes yes, technically there is, I know. I'm just sort of sick of the whole "pro" gamer thing. When the hell did people start playing games just to be pro? I don't get it. Just because you're good at a game, you're pro?

Glitches give unfair advantages, they don't make you pro.

No, pro = professional = you get paid to play. The MLG pros are pros because they get paid to play a game, like how NFL stars are pros because they get paid to play the game of football.

How did they ruin Halo 2? Give me a reason?

They did what Halo 3 can't. They made you always stay on the edge of your chair because someone COULD come back from 1 shot and kill you. Not like in Halo 3.

By the way, since you're trying to be cool and use good grammar, you should know "Shoting" is not a word. Shotting would be the correct way to spell it. Idiot.

The BXR was a fail glitch that should NEVER resurface again. I've I had a hack to make a scarab laser out of a pistol, does THAT make me pro? That's pretty much what you're asking for.

Are you serious? That was not a button combo. That was a newly-tiered melee system (likely B+B+B if anything) that was ultimately removed from the game. BXB, BXR, etc., has nothing to do with that.

I always figured that the only wey to string the melees together as in the demo would have been with the X button, and when the feature was removed, the X button still cancelled melees as a glitch and allowed things like BXB, BXR and RRX to work. Why else would there have been a cancel melee button?

It isn't a "cancel melee button". It's a freaking reload button that interrupts every first-person animation action because they were not programmed to follow through in their entirety, and the same is still existent in Halo 3.
