Go Rams and Missouri!

Project Natal would be a perfect fit for Halo: Reach. Although we don't yet know that it is being used, Harold Ryan did hint at in this article, just scroll near the end.

Well, almost everybody has seen that, so I won't talk about the actual article.

Natal does not completely replace the controller. The controller can be used in conjunction with Project Natal. Think about this: You are holding the controller, and all of a sudden you use your let go of the controller with your left hand and throw a grenade. I know that seems impractical, but Bungie will think of a way to incorporate Natal into the game and use it for something important while not deterring from gameplay. The controller will be mostly what you are using, but Natal may be used for smaller, yet important, functions.

Can you seriously imagine jumping every time you wanted to jump in the Halo game? Hopefully its not ready by the time Reach comes out...

Did you read? It's not going to use the important controls with Natal, but more subtle things that will enhance the experience.

It is a great community for the hardcore gamer.
Tell them Mongerty sent you

I am thinking it will probably be mini-game type things. Like using your hand to open a door, or climb a ladder. I doubt that they will do anything that makes you take your hands off of the controller during a firefight.

You are on the right track though. I hope that they don't mess the game up by overdoing it.

I think maybe you aim with the controller and use natal for extra cool things... Aiming and jumping with Natal with be the EPICEST, EPIC FAIL. EVAR.

That's the thing though if they're using it for small things then doesn't it seem a bit pointless?

They should just use it for the whole game (which would ruin it) or don't use it at all (which would make it awesome).
Halo and motion controls shouldn't go together, I'm just glad Nintendo don't own Halo.

Life? Don't talk to me about life....

I actually think it could be pretty cool. Maybe I'm overestimating Natal's capabilities, but I'm picturing waving around gun hands and physically beating the hell out of enemies with real life movements. Energy sword fights are going to be INSANE.
But of course, only if Natal is more than a glorified Wii
