But there's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
And the Science gets done.
And you make a neat gun.
For the people who are still alive.

Yea but.. Most of the bungie employees moved onto reach. It would be great for matchmaking on ODST. But ODST was ment to be an expansion of Halo 3.

People keep telling me to get a life... I am getting an education, I have a lovely girlfriend and alot of friends... I thought this was having a life? Gues I was wrong...

I can understand both the people who want matchmaking and bungie. Sure, matchmaking for ODSt would be awesome, but as all games, people will always move on to play multiplayer in the new version of the game, so briniging matchmaking into ODST would be a waste of valuable time they could spend on Reach Matchmaking, as ODST is most likely only going to be "popular" for about a year, then people will move on to Reach to play multiplayer.

Bungie moved on to the Reach project and they need HARDCORE training for the Bungie Vs the world playlist, they won't let us get their precious armor without a fight!

ODST is more or less, a tide over. It's made to expand the Halo Universe's story, and deliver it in a new way. The FireFight portion will keep people busy and happy for a while, and the new achievements should be fun.
However, most of their effort and time is going into Reach to make it into a freaking sweet game. There would be no point in making a completely new matchmaking experience if people were going to move onto Reach in a year. I see FireFight as a (slight) beta (ish thing), if it goes well, Bungie might include it in Reach. So far, so good.
Thats why I don't think Bungie would include a new matchmaking experience and why I personally don't think that would be a good idea.
Oh, and... Wall 'O' Text FTW!
