HAHAHAHAHA.

That kinda sucks~

Yes, no kidding. I can only hope he diidn't play on and ruin my account. That is, if the Xbox people can retrieve the account and transfer it back to me.

The important thing is we are getting a complete refund on the $600+ he spent on the credit card.
What a farking arsehole. How do you spend $600 on Xbox Live stuff, seriously?

$600 is a straight out lie anyways.

listen, man, ignore the asses. It's good that you're getting your money back, that is the important thing. all the other xbox live stuff doesn't matter next to your identity security.

It said I could deny the claims and I should include my email adress linked to the account and my password. So I did.

There are many powers in the world, for good or for evil. Some are greater than I am. Against some I have not yet been measured. But my time is coming.

You would spend $600 on 48,000 MS points.
I did the math.
On a calculator.
On my computer.
In my house.
In the US.
On Earth.

Bum Bum BUUUUUUUUUM

I know it probably all looked legit, but microsoft and all the companies that you have a subscription to never ask for your account details. besides, they already have access to them anyway, why would they ask you?

I'm not lying. My mom went online to check the credit card that we used for that account, and there were 10 unauthorized purchases of $62.50 for Microsoft Xbox Live.

Everyone, stop using the word "hacked". This man was not hacked. This was what is know as "scamming" or "conning".

They are completely different from "hacking".

I got a message from Windows Live ID a few days ago saying that my account (not this one, a different one) will be temporarily banned form Xbox Live due to complaints filed. It said I could deny the claims and I should include my email adress linked to the account and my password. So I did.

I got this message like 5 or 6 days ago. Now when I try to sign on to that account, it says my account membership is not valid. And when I try to look for the account here on Bungie.net to see the service record, I can't find the gamertag.

Is this what is supposed to be happening? Sorry if I sound like an idiot for asking this, but I have never been banned before, and thus I do not know what it is like. And is there any way to check when the ban will be lifted?

EDIT: Apparently I am an idiot and my account was stolen. This hasn't been a good day.

i wont call u stupid because im sure th emessage was convincing, but after rereading what u wrote im sure u saw the fatal mistake u made

Top of the mornin' to ya!

I really don't understand why everyone was so mean to the guy. He asked a question and clearly got robbed. Ok, that sucks for him. But should we really be making it worse by rubbing it in his face? Sorry about your account dude. Hope you get it back and the credit card thing gets resolved.
