so im still abit confused, does halo odst come with a second disk which has every aspect of halo 3's miltiplayer on that disk, so will I be able to sell my copy of halo 3?

How is that confusing? The second disc has everything except Halo 3 campaign. If you don't want to play campaign anymore, then yes, you can sell Halo 3.

You really have to step back and consider the bigger picture from Bungie's perspective. They aren't just marketing this game to those of us who bought the maps. There's a whole group of Halo players that wont or cant get the maps because they dont have LIVE. They have to market and package the game to the largest audience possible. The way they did it covers those with LIVE and those without. Doing it this way increases their profit more than if they did the two separate. It's a great strategy.
