Okay everyone. Long and short of it is that with Halo 3: ODST, we will be paying for a new campaign, and three new maps for Halo 3 multiplayer. First off...sure, there are some games out there that are only Campaign that run a decent gameplay, games like Fallout, where the story mode is playable only once.
The bad part is is that bungie had already hoped themselves for a smaller number on the price tag for Halo 3: ODST, apx $40.00 USD, since they admitted that the game was merely a "campaign expansion." If we take Bungie's word for it, we can only assume that a full game price of $60.00 for this expansion pack is too much for what we're getting, along with the three map packs. [and the ever so popular recon controversy] which is beside the point.
All I'm asking is that do you think that with Bungie underestimating their own "expansion pack" by setting their price bar low, that a full game price is a reasonable price for the Microsoft suits to ask for for only a simple campaign, three new maps (assuming they'll be on the marketplace soon enough after), and a hyped up armor set, especially with Halo Reach around the corner?
