Subject: The Arbiters Role?

Now lets think here,

At the beginning of halo 2 it was revealed that he was the Commanding elite in the attack against reach. So since he had a large role, will he be in the game? Not necessarily as an enemy but as a viewpoint from the covenant? I hope so, that would be cool.

ummm... i think he was the elite that chased the pillar of autumn to halo, and since he did not stop MC from blowing up halo he was made into the arbiter.

anyways didn't the pillar of autumn leave at the beginning of the covenant attack? meaning arby would not have been too involved in the covenant attack.

Don't hate... ...loathe.

I think DangerBeck is right. Or the soon to be Arbiter was tasked with the mission to explore/activate the ring world and the Pillar of Autum just crashed the party with Cortana's "random" slip space jump from the cordinates taken from the signal the intersepted earlyer in the book.

Snakie Purple.

"Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog"-Hamdog.

Twatter

It would be cool.

Even cooler would be seeing him Fighting other Spartans. (And winning, obviously...)

No, the pillar of autumn left at the end of the battle. they inserted John - 117 and Linda into a not completly blowen up MAC station. and the rest of the Spartans went to the surface to defend the MAC generators. John escaped with a pelican and Linda got critticaly wounded.
The rest of the spartans presumed dead.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME GROUP INVITATIONS

The Halo REACH Script (post thoughts in thread)

Writing Lead of Whisper Studios. Check out Heron!

Look... I'm on bungiepedia!

He was a commanding Elite. He took all his ships to follow the PoA to Halo, so Red Team would not have encountered him. Another Elite Fleetmaster would have been present commanding the other half of the ships. Maybe Xytan 'Jar Wattinree (in my script, anyway) since his ship was the one with the NOVA onboard in Ghosts of Onyx.

I do not appreciate B.Net Group solicitation. If you ignore this and send me an invitation anyway, I will block communications with you.

It sounded, from the way Thel (the Arbiter) described the encounter to the Prophets, that he was in space when they "set fire to [Reach]".

It would be awesome to encounter Thel in the game, but I sure as hell don't want to play as him, or any other Covenant for that matter.

Remember,
It is easy to be male
it is another thing to be a man.

I think that Thel 'Vadamee will make a cameo appearance in the game. Maybe only referenced to by some elites or something like that.

We could play as the un-named Arbiter on Reach.
List of Arbiters:
Unnamed Arbiter during the Grunt Rebellion.
Unnamed Arbiter during the Taming of the Hunters.
Ripa 'Moramee - the seventeenth Arbiter in the line of Immaculate Succession - fought on Harvest, at Arcadia and at the Apex.
Unnamed Arbiter during the Battle of Jericho VII.
Unnamed Arbiter during the Battle of Reach.
Thel 'Vadamee - Either the eighteenth or twentieth Arbiter in the line of Immaculate Succession - fought the Heresy and started the Covenant Civil War.
