Still using a pump-action shotgun over 500 years in the future I see.

omg not realistic stop game production plz

There's a big debate over whether it's "Noble" or "Nova". Whilst it seems pretty clear that it's "Noble", there is more reason for it to be "Nova".

The NOVA bomb in the Halo Universe is the most powerful UNSC bomb ever. Therefore it could be expected to be "Nova". However it sounds a lot more like "Noble". This is why there is a debate, fellow Reachlings.

Thanks to ShadowScythe159 for confirming that it is in fact "Noble One", after he amplified it and hear the clearer "ble" sound.

Now we must concentrate on what "Noble One is".

One more thing (though this is completely unrelated to Noble/Nova) is that when the first bomb exploded on the planet, all the lights for seemingly thousands of miles turned off. Does Reach's cities/countries all run on energy provided by massive power plant areas?

I think it says Noble.
I recorded the voice.
Used my Audio program and Amplified it and sped it up.
You can easily hear the ble sound now.

Yes Reach is powered by large generators for Orbital platforms. It would be speculation otherwise. The reason why the lights go out is the explosions might be nuclear in origin and NUclear bombs create an EMP. Also they wouldn't say they lost contact with a bomb. Also those explosions are NOT Novas because from GoO you find out a NOVA bomb can wipe out a fleet and HALF a moon many many kilometres away. One NOVA bomb could destroy a planet if detonated in atmosphere.

Oh ya dude, I knew that, I just was thinking - why would Reach use these power bases for their weapons platforms and their cities? The EMP idea seems pretty good though.

And thanks to the guy who comfirmed that it's "Noble One".

I have just made a theory now! Seems like it might be true. HEAR ME OUT, Good theory!

OK, so think about this. The Commander or whoever he is, appears to be calling for Noble One.

Noble One must be a very powerful weapon to be called for before Spartans. So it's possible Noble One is a SHIP.

It's been stated that Pillar of Autumn was one of the most powerful warships humanity had, as it was a revamped Halcyon Class Warship.

What if Noble One is the Pillar of Autumn? And the reason it doesn't respond is because the Autumn slip-space blind jumped to Halo?

Remember,
It is easy to be male
it is another thing to be a man.

I'm of the opinion that Noble one is a ship possibly the Trafalgar seeing as she is a super carrier and was present at Reach.
Noble one might also be a code name for a high ranking official. Seeing as Noble One normally refers to a respected person only backs up this idea.
(tis only a theory though so make of it what you will)

The Pillar of Autumn is NOT the most powerful warship. The way it is built is unique but the UNSC's Cruiser's are the most powerfull warships. Like Admiral Stanforth's Ship the Leviathan.

Noble 1 = Admiral Whitcomb?

Time flies like an arrow; fruits flies like a banana.

I also have the feeling that he is saying Noble-1 rather than Noble One. Yeah, I know I'm vague: what I'm trying to say is that Noble-1 sounds like a militairy term, like Beta-3 or Upsilon-16, and not like a title for someone that is actually noble.
