Yes. Almost all of those things change the fundamentals of halo. BUT ALL WE ARE TALKING ABOUT IS SKINS AND ATTACHMENTS!!!!!! This isn't a custom class! It's a little color and a splash of stategy! It's nothing that will destroy the game!
ok in my opinion there is to ways to make a good FPS
1. Class Based: You choose or make a class and fight with it, each has advantages and weaknesses (ex: COD4, BF:BC)
2.RUN AROUND PICKING UP WEAPONS BASED: Wepons are stratigetically placed around the map to balence game play (EX. HALO, UNREAL TOUNEMENT, GEARS, ETC. )
Why can't a game find a good balance?
Good FPSs don't need any of those things. What defines a good FPS is a compelling storyline, good gameplay, and some good multiplayer. You don't need any classes, those are just little things to help make your character more specialized ,but you can do that with a regular game.
